Kids dining time in club

Since the recent dining time change I've been reconsidering our main seating time. Does anyone know what time the kids must be checked into the club to eat? I thought I remember from last year that they had to be checked in by 5:00 or 5:15pm. Is this still the case with the new 5:30 main seating? Any recent cruisers remember?

We were on the July 20th cruise with the "new" dining time of the early seating being at 5:30. My 3 yr old dd still had to be in the club by 5:15 to eat in the club at 5:30. I literally had to run from our Cozumel excursion to shower and run up the stairs to get her to the club in time. She was persistant in wanting to eat with the kids versus the adults.

Thanks. Do you remember if this was the case for all age kids? My son will be in the 5-7 and my daughter will be in the 8-9 group. Anyone?

Yes it is the same time. I think they sprend them out a little bit, b/c I remember being late and having to pick dd up at Topsiders so she could have dinner with us and on the way out the older groups were coming in. It was in the 5:30 ballpark. You can check out Barb's website and she has some old programs from the club. Those could give you a better idea on the older group.
