Kids Clubs - Simba's

How far in advance should we reserve spaces at Simba's Clubhouse? Is it often full or shoudl we wait until we are actually on resort?
Is it 'bad' to reserve several nights and then cancel the ones you don't need the day before?
Its really difficult to know which nights would be best, as it often depends on the 'state' of the kids that particular day.

I made reservations 90 days out for our January trip. Since it is the Sunday of MLK weekend, I wanted to be sure to get the ressies early. If it is not a peak time, you could probably make them just a few days out.
