I will be a teacher in a few years, (hopfully) and I just know that I will be enjoying the books as much as the kids will. I used to work at a school and I would ask the kids which books I should read or buy. They are always RIGHT!!
I even enjoy those "Captain Underpants" books. 
Does anybody else have trouble buying the perfect gift for their DH or DW? I just let him write down exactly what he wanted on a wish list and then took the wish list to the APPLE STORE and bought it!
