I am thinking that since we have 7:45 am flight and have to be there by 6:15, (airport 7 1/2 minutes from my home) that I would just dress the boys in the clothes they are wearing the night before after showers of course that way they are already dressed and just have to brush teeth, put on shoes and socks and we are off. Also plan on stopping at dunkin donuts for breakfast to eat either before or on the plane. What have you all done for early flights and kids. Oh yea they are 10 and am thinking that it will be crazy the night before, finishing packing, etc. and they probably won't get to bed early, I know I won't, lol Thanks in advance..:wave2: :yo-yo:

I don't think it's crazy. I know trying to get kids dressed in the morning can be a headache and with the added excitement of WDW it could turn into a migrane ;) . Maybe have your kids wear nice sweats so they'll be comfortable sleeping but still look decent for the plane. We've taken DD on planes in her pjs as well as changed her into her pj's on planes but she's only 4 1/2. Another option might be to have them go to the airport in their pj's (some almost look like clothes) and change while you're waiting to board the plane.

I often dresses DS in sleepable clothes when he was smaller and we had early departure plans. In reality however, after he was about 6 or 7, he was so excited to get started that he was up as early as we were and getting dressed just kept him busy for a little bit. Sometimes we would put on clean under wear, socks and a shirt that would not wrinkel too much and he could just pull on jeans and shoes in the am. Travel breakfast is always on the go for us but we avoid the high sugar items like doughnuts. Quick energy can make them hipper and them drop fast to grumpy kids. peanut butter crackers, dry ceral, are a low sugar granola bars are quick and easy. A breakfast sandwich at the air port while you wait is a choice too. Sounds like you are planning ahead to make it all work well. Good luck.

My GK are 7 and nearly 9, so we wake them up and they get dressed by themselves. Breakfast is cold cereal and milk before we leave for the airport. They are usually getting dressed as I'm loading the car if I didn't get it loaded the night before.

I usually bring a box of snack crackers and put a water bottle in everyone's backpack.

At the airport I buy myself breakfast as I can't eat when I first get up.
