Kids and Beads Dont Mix!

Hope it goes okay for you today....

.... If its any help, My little brother, when he was about a year old, managed to shove an entire bank leaflet up his nose! He'd grabbed it in the bank, then tore bits off, chewed them, and then shoved them up his nose....My Mum managed to get most of it out though (Earning lots of screaming and funny looks from strangers...), and then he sneezed the rest out later.... Including a rather interesting piece about mortgage rates.....

I just saw this on Facebook! I hope that everything goes well today! Luckily we haven't had anything like this with Shelby yet but I am sure that we will have sooner or later! My Brother put a stone up his nose when he was a kid and the ENT had to get it out I believe my mom tried shaking him upside down and pepper to make him sneeze - he was a pain in the bum then and still is now! ;)
Good luck for today!

Good luck. My DS pushed a rolled up bit od sellotape in his ear earlier this year in school. We were lucky as the doctor was able to get it out. It was really hard to see but he caught a tiny bit and yanked it out.
Hope they can do something for you quickly

Its out finally.

She as soon as we walked into the room said NO to everything and wouldnt lie on the bed, luckily I could sit with her and I had to wrap my legs over hers and pin her back to me and hold her head to the side.
The specialist plugged in a little suction needle and kept trying to suck it out to no avail so they then got some tools and one looked like a fine needle with a hook - cue alot of squirming off madam as it went in and more suction and pop out it came! :goodvibes

The nurse made me chuckle as soon as we walked in she asked what colour was it,has a little boy was there yesterday with a green one LOL! :rotfl:

Its out and her ear is fine :)
We have the bead pride of place in a pot! :rotfl:

Thank you everyone :goodvibes

Bet she won't make that mistake again in a hurry :lmao:

im glad it turned out ok !

What a relief you must have been so worried all night. Im so pleased her ear is OK. Its amazing what these professionals can do, they must be removing things like this on a daily basis, but to us its like living a nightmare.

Big  for you it must have been horrid having to hold DD while she was struggling. But thank goodness its all over :woohoo:

So glad everything worked out well-and no putting to sleep involved.x.

only just seen this so I managed to read the happy ending straight away. It must have been so awful for you having to wait, must have felt like two weeks.
