Hi!
I thought I subbed in here a couple weeks ago, bit with all the stuff going on with my life, I hope you can understand the confusion!
So what happened with your room reservations? How have you nailed down the where you are staying stuff?
My ADR window for the non F&W part of the trip opens soon. I better think about calling. Even though it's October 17th, I think it is still a couple days away.
Yay!![]()
OK, I just saw this yay! For getting what you wanted and I saw that you are moving to AKV. Which AoA area are you staying in? Sorry I'm asking all these questions instead of going back and seeking it out...i'm having a hard enough time getting up and out of bed each morning.
So I noticed that you are planning on EPCOT F&W for Monday (the first one you are there). That's our plan for that day too, so we should try and get together, maybe visit a few kiosks and enjoy some of the festival for a bit!
We're at the BCV so we'll just be eating around the world and relaxing.
That sounds like fun! I've got festival on the brain.I'm thinking of ditching Raglan Road the following Saturday and just doing Epcot. Is there an Ireland kiosk or does anyone sell Guinuess? That's Michael's favorite.
I don't think there's a better location during F&W! I'm also sure I couldn't have picked farther locations.![]()

I would avoid the kiosks on Saturday. The festival is busy and the lines are really long.
Ireland is my favorite booth. They have Guinness, this wonderful Fisherman's pie, and a molten chocolate cake. Your girls would love pie, it has shrimp and scallops!![]()
Ooooo, I'm excited. But I think I'll keep Raglan Road for Saturday. I can imagine F&W being a total zoo on the weekends due to locals. I'm so stoked there is an Ireland booth. Michael will be too.
And on vacation we don't follow ANY dietary guidelines other than to eat everything and often. You'll see a lot of shellfish and pork in the pics.
We aren't really *good* at home, we just skip the obvious ones.
I love Irish and English food. Is the molten chocolate cake like the one at Coral Reef?
I love Raglan Rd! So yummy. The bread pudding is to die for!!
Just a sec...gotta get a rag to wipe off the keyboard from all the drool just thinking about it.
Congrats on ADRs!
I agree that the Fisherman's pie is awesome!

Notice my hand in the picture, don't try and split this one. I'm not sure if it's like the one at Coral Reef, but we went back immediately and each got one.
Just for good measure, this is the Fisherman's pie with the Guinness

Congrats on getting all of your ADR's! We are definitely planning on hitting the kiosks Weds/Thurs and then probably again on Monday but avoiding them over the weekend.
Our ADR day is on Sat I think, we've finally figured it out although I'm sure some things will change.
Breakfast : Wave
Lunch: R&C, Les Chef's, LTT
Dinner: Citrico's, Brown Derby, Flying Fish
Yum! Those look great. I'm dying to try the Flying Fish. And LTT almost made my list. Good luck on ADR day. Are you making them? We're avoiding F&W on the weekends too. I hear it's insanity.
I added Tony's. We can share there.![]()

Alison, that pie looks so good. Looks like the portions are fairly snack sized?
We decided to add a very late lunch at LTT before MNSSHP which should work out well I think. I've not been there but it can be a big lunch so should be perfect. Mary Ellen is making them. We are in the same boat with a DVC ressie so can't do more than day one online when our window opens as it won't recognize the numbers. As she booked the DVC and I don't have the ressie # it's all on her lol!
I am not expecting any issues with our list but you never know.
Most of the F&W portions are reasonably sized that you can eat a few without getting stuffed. When we went last time, we found that if we split everything, we got full after about 2-4 kiosks. We would order pretty much one of everything and the wines that paired with it. Each kiosk had 3-4 items, so we would spend $15-20 per booth. We would go find a nice shady corner, and eat all the portions, sip the wine and then move on. After about 8-9 little plates between the two of us, we were ready for a nice dark ride like Ellen's Energy Adventure or the American Pavillion!![]()
