The trip was amazing- it was about 15* above normal, perfect. Spent some time at the beach everyday.

No, it looks like it won't happen unfortunately. With my sisters death I think we are going to have to find a bit different of a plan. I think we may go to Reno to stay for a few days so that we can take my mom to see my cousin and his wife. My cousin is older and closer to her age so it will be nice for them. And we will take the kids to Lake Tahoe and Virginia City. It should be fun.

I am kind of just waiting. I have the two night at the Ayre's when I am ready so I am playing it by ear. Maybe Scotty and I will take a quick trip without the kids, I think that might be nice.

Camp got the official veto tonight. While I'd love for them to go again, forcing the issue won't win them over. Camp is pretty $$$ so I'd rather not spend the money unless they really want to go.


I'm off the last week in June so maybe we'll drive out anyway for a couple days at Disneyland and a couple beach days.

I ran the idea by DH. Got the big and half smile. That means no in Michael speak. He's more reralistic than I am. The minute I said a couple of nights at the GCV he knew a cheap trip was out of the question.
