 It truly flies by.

How was your weekend?

Wet and rainy. I love the change in weather though. I am glad that fall is here.

How was your weekend? Are you ready to tackle the world?

Looks like we had the same weather this weekend. We have snow now. :faint: I hate to be cold and I hate driving in the snow and every year about this time I ask myself why I moved to Utah and I have yet to come up with a viable answer.

Snow? Oh no thank you. I am not a fan of snow, that is one of the pleasures of living in the bay area. Driving in it is just half of the fun. Having the energy to go out in the cold is a big one too.

I totally agree. If I could stay home all day, I say snow away, but since that is not the case, I hate hate hate it! I think it's 47* right now not considering the wind chill. I left work to go grocery shopping because we are set to get 2 inches tonight on the valley floor. I am making white chicken chili topped with sour cream and tortilla strips. :cloud9: Of course I had to drive thru Starbuck's for a skinny hot Chai.

Chili sounds good. It is in the 60's here and I am making stew because it just sounds so good to me.

What do you put in your stew? I love stew! The only things I like about winter are the food, drink, and holidays. The rest can bite me!

DH made a curry lamb stew that was SO insanely good last week.

Oh that sounds wonderful. I was just lazy, I am making a chicken stew, with onions, garlic, red potatoes and carrots. I prefer red potatoes for my stew.

I have never made a white chili. I think I may try that.

Our Owner's Locker is PACKED!

We have ponchos, detergent, fabric softener, bleach, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, face cleanser, moisturizer, toothpaste, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, baby power, soap, beach towels, stroller rain cover (for the 2 yr old's stroller), hair brushes, combs, bandaids, hair accessories (my hair is pulled back most of the time in Disney because of the heat), plastic cups with straws for my nephews. There may be other stuff in there too. I'm going to make a list when I get to the YC on Nov. 18th.

Since we plan on going at least once a year for an extended stay (we'll be there 12 days next summer), it's easier to just leave stuff there.

That sounds good. Do you saute the meat first?

My white chicken chili had chicken, great white northern beans, onions, garlic, cumin, oregano, and consume. Sooo good. :cloud9: Top it with a little sour cream......

Oh my, that will make packing for trip so much easier! I am impressed to say the least. How much does the locker cost again?

:donald: 413 days!!! :donald:

This is from the HM holiday overlay. Best. Overlay. Ever! And truly the reason I would choose Disneyland over WDW during the holidays. It is a must-see! The pic is kinda dark as there is no flash photography allowed. ;)

Yes, I do saute it. After I saute it I cook it with the onions, garlic and whatever seasonings suit me at that moment and cook it until the chicken shreds.

Your white chicken chili sounds wonderful. I think I may be making it soon.

I love to go to World Market and buy their soup packets. It is lazy but they tend to be good. I really like their lentil soup.

Someone said we have a World Market here but I haven't seen it- is it like Whole Foods?

Your chicken stew sounds good! I love tender shredded chicken.

I brought leftover chili today but the In n Out urge took over so I just got done horking down a double double.

Ooh I hadn't realized that In n Out had branched out so far. World Market is like an import store with foods from all over the world. I love the grocery section, but, honestly the whole store is wonderful.

Like Trader Joe's kinda but more international it sounds. I found out we have one in Park City and south Salt Lake City. :woohoo:

We now have 7 In n Outs in Utah but none super close to me other than work- thank goodness. My inner thighs couldn't afford one in my own town.

Oh no, much better than Trader Joe's. They sell all sorts of things. Soaps, toys, furniture, food, specialty beers, wine, linens, housewares, and they have one of the best kitchen areas I have ever seen.

I avoid In n Out, because I like it too much.

I am sold, I am there!!!! Hopefully I can make my way there next weekend. :thanks:

Yes, packing is soooo much easier! I love that I don't have to pack any of that stuff.

$99 annual fee and I think I paid less than $30 to sign up with the Mousesavers discount. I get one visit a year and additional visits are $25 each. There is a flat rate for unlimited visits, but it didn't make sense for us.

That's a great deal and cheaper and easier than packing extra bags! :thumbsup2 There is a chance we might be going twice within a year: Dec 2011 and Oct 2012. Did you have to sign a contract?

You're welcome! Enjoy!:hippie:

Can't wait. I am sure my wallet with thank you. ;)

Oh I am sure it will. :rotfl:

I buy my spices there. They are reasonable and good quality.
