Kidani room request

Hi

We are going to Kidani this september. We are staying two days in a studio with savanne view.

While we are there, we wont have a car, so it would be great to be close to a bus-stop.

From what I can read we should request: Sunset Savanna, lower floor and close to lobby.

I also read that I should only put in two requests. Which of the above should I request or should I request something completely different?

I would prioritize the three requests. I agree that more than two requests makes it tough on the room assigners, and if they can't match all three they may throw them all out. Pick the two most important to you and give them to MS in that order. For your short stay, I would probably prioritize close to the lobby and Sunset Savanna. We've had an upper floor at AKV-Kidani and were still able to view many animals.

If you want room close to bus stop make your lead request either close to the Timon elevator or close to community hall. Those are both requests that put you on the south wing with quick access to exit door that leads directly to the bus stop. Moreover, since all savanna view rooms on the south wing face Sunset Savanna, you need not make a Sunset Savanna view your lead request. Make request via MS and do not use request page during online check-in.

Also be aware of an issue with a close to lobby request. That has become the most popular request made, including because it is one of those that can be made during online check-in by anyone staying there including cash quests. There have now been a number of reports of guests making that request, not getting it, and ending up near the end of a wing as far from the lobbby as you can be. That happens because when they cannot meet a location request like close to lobby, they do not try to find for you something nearby but instead immediately go to putting you in whatever rooms may be available anywhere and that is very often the rooms toward the end of the wings.
