A friend from Orlando wanted to visit us while we are at Kidani (we’re on rented points). Do we need to leave her name with someone at the resort so that she can park and visit?

Yes, you need to tell the front desk the identity of the visitor and have them notify security so the person can get through the gate.

Remember that your guest is not permitted to join you at the pool unless you have added her to your reservation.

Probably not, as long as they aren't staying overnight. If they are staying overnight, they need to be on the reservation.
