kidani a few questions

Hi
We will be staying at our very first stay at AKL / kidani en jan 2010
On our arrival day will ME make a stop at both jambo and kidani section of AKL ?
If we want to use the food court on arrival day would you say walk to jambo or hop on the bus ?? if so will every bus taken at kidan then stop at jambo ???
What section is best ( we have a savana view ) ??
And last for now where are the washer / dryer located at kidani ??

ME stops at both. When a friend used it in June, they stopped at Jambo first.

All the park busses stop at Kidnai first, then Jambo. Downtown Disney busses stop at Jambo first, then Kidani.

I would request close to the lobby, 2nd or 3rd floor. When I was there in June, the animals were there most of the day.

Laundry room is near the lobby on the 2nd floor.

Yes, the ME bus should stop at both.

For the food court, I would just walk over to Jambo from Kidani...takes about 5 minutes to get to the Mara.

Yes, buses stop at Kidani first and then Jambo.

If you have a savanna view...they are all "best".

If you are in a 1,2 or 3 bedroom villa, your washer and dryer are in the unit in a closet. If you are in a studio....I have no idea!!

Just remember on the buses if you want to bus from Kidani to Jambo House, any of the park (Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Disney Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom) buses will go to Jambo after leaving Kidani.

If you want to go from Jambo to Kidani take the Downtown Disney bus.

Bad news when we stayed there in June, no one ever announce which resort was which. You'll get so you recognize each resort as the entrances look different. Just ask the driver he'll keep you informed.

If your family just isn't up to the walk you can ride the bus between the two hotels.

My first AKV stay will be in January as well.

Are there separate check-in facilities or does everyone use the same area for AKL and AKV?

Kidani has its own check-in desk.
