Which resort around Epcot is the most Kid Friendly(11 yr old), BC, YC, or BW?:confused3 :confused3

Well my 9 yo DS loves the BC, and we will be there for our 3rd stay in a row this October.

So the BC gets my vote. :thumbsup2

The YC and BC have the best pool on property, very popular with kids. BWV/BWI also has a good pool, and lots of entertainment on the boardwalk in the evenings, and an ice cream parlor, sweet shop and bakery.

Really, all of the Disney resorts are very kid-friendly. Kids will be comfortable and welcome at any of them.

As far as a resort lobby, I think the BC is the most kid-friendly because of the character breakfast. There are many kids/families gathered in the lobby area. It also has a bright and cheery feel to it. YC is more elegant enriched with gold tones. BWI is sort of in-between the feeling of BC versus YC. We felt like the lobby and inside area of the resort was more adult-oriented than BC; however, the boardwalk area has tons of excitement for kids and adults alike. When we stay at BC, we do walk over to the boardwalk area quite often. The surrey bike rentals are on the boardwalk, as well as a large bakery and general boardwalk entertainment.

Yep, Beach Club without a doubt. It's got a slightly more relaxed informal atmosphere, features character breakfasts at the hotel restaurant, is the closest walk to Epcot and the pool is amazing (by far the best on property, or almost anywhere else come to that). The rest of the Epcot area hotels are all easily walkable anyway if you want to sample the shops, food, etc.

We stayed at the BW last Dec. and I have to say it is NOT very child friendly. Our double stroller would barely even fit in the hall. And no child activities. I wouldn't stay there again with kids.

Gotta go with BC here too. Our last trip DS had just turned 12 and DD turned 14 on the trip. They love BC. We stayed at the Dolpin the Nov. before that though and our DD loved the pool! They both say BC is the best. :)

definately BC for younger ones :)
the resort is very busy with little ones running, playing (volume is a bit high:rolleyes1 lol, so you don't need to worry if your child is a bit loud and/or excited :thumbsup2 ).

btw, our nephews & own children (ages 6 & up) didn't care for the BC for the same reasons: very noisy & busy ~ by the pools, in the lobby & hallways. all loved the YC & BW though ~ it's great fun to try different resorts for the stages :)

I would definately say the Beach Club, mostly because of the pool area. They may share a pool with the Yacht Club but, I didn't get the feeling that the Yacht Club was very kid friendly at all.
