Keys To the Kingdom

Now, is this the tour that takes you beneath Main Street? Does Every tour do that?

YUP, we went right down into the UTILIDORS!!! Fascinating. Not sure if they take you down there for every Tour. :thumbsup2

We took it a few weeks ago. We used the AAA discount. It was fantastic! We rode Jungle Cruise and HM. (POC had closed the day before)

It's a lot of walking. Me and DH were pretty tired by the end. We went backstage and in the utilidors (utilidors were the most boring thing out of the whole tour and one of the last things we did)

Highly recommend this tour! It's well worth the money, especially when you factor in the "free" lunch and the pin.

We did this tour Monday (March 20) and loved it. I found reading the CM info posted in the utilidoors very interesting. We walked 2.2 miles on our tour with our guide Nick. With POC closed we did two rides and found out about many hidden Mickeys including some very interesting info about Splash Mountain. I wouldn't do the tour again in that both DH and I have very good memories and it was a lot about history but it taught us to look for so much more in the parks. I can't wait to do a few more tours. We also did the Steamtrains tour(which a 14 year old can do) and the Undiscovered Future World. We haven't decided which we like best by DH who was sceptical about taking any of them is looking forward to others.

We are booked to do this tour on June 1st. We are so excited we could just spit!! I can't wait!!!!

We went on this tour last April and were not offered the headsets. I think they only do this for larger groups, and ours didn't qualify. I really wish we had had them though - it was a little hard to hear at times. Otherwise, it was a nice tour. During the same week, we took the Segway tour, and LOVED that. HTH

We did this tour and it was great! Well worth the money, especially if you like to learn how some of the magic is done. We had a smaller group so it was easier to hear. However, we had one OOPS moment when the People Mover broke down. We had to walk off the platform, down some back stairs to exit the ride. We got a real up-close behind-the-scenes look that obviously was NOT planned.

DH and I did the KTTK tour last September and we both loved it! I already knew a lot of stuff our guide was telling us (our guide who was great, wish I could remember his name) but I also learned some new stuff and I loved being able to go behind the scenes. DH is not a big Disney nut like I am, but he enjoyed the tour very much as well. We had the AP discount, but even without the discount I thought it was well worth the cost.

Hi,
Just to re-ask this question. How do you book reservations? And how far in advance can it be done? Do they take your credit card number when you call? Or do
you charge it when you actually get there?

Thanks for all the info. I am definitely going to do it.

I just booked for May and there was plenty available spots. My credit card was recorded, however it will not be charged until the tour. I think 48 hour cancellation policy or credit card will be charged.

That is interesting because mine was charged when I booked for April. I called in Feb to book the trip.

When I booked, they charged the card right away. I called 407-WDW-TOUR. I am not sure how far in advance you can book. I booked about 2 months in advance and had no trouble getting the date and time I wanted.

Sorry folks. My card was charged, butI can get a refund up til 48 hours beforehand

I went on the tour last summer and really enjoyed it. Lunch is included and
you receive a Keys to the Kingdom pin afterwards.
