Has anyone been on the Keys to the Kingdom tour of MK? DW and I are considering it during our trip (first without the kids) to WDW in August. Any thoughts?

It's well worth it, We had tour guide Nick he was OUTSTANDING. Go on the tour. Also have a great vacation.

I was the tour last summer and thought it was great! :thumbsup2
I recommend taking the tour also!

This is a *MUST*! We adored it! There were so many tidbits of secret info given not to mention a walkthrough of Utilidors, the underground "city" of Magic Kingdom.

We did the tour in October 2004. I thought it was great. It has alot of trivia about how the park was developed and the behind the scenes parts were well worth the time and money. Have a great trip! :thumbsup2

We enjoyed it, we visited Sept '05 will do it and more tours in the future! I just love learning more and more about Disney.

It was worth every cent. When we go back this year, we will be taking a different tour because of how much we liked K2K.

It's a fantastic tour, one we would do again. Jason was our guide and a real wealth of knowledge. I would certainly take the tour again (and maybe again after that) to hear what the other tour guides say. It seems like they each have their own 'way' of doing the tour and I think by doing it more than once you'd get a fabulously well-rounded view of the park. :thumbsup2

Jason is really good. We did not have him but everytime our group was near Jason's, my DS and I would switch our headsets to the frequency Jason was transmitting on. :ssst:

Hee hee hee! ;) I can believe you'd switch to his frequency (though I didn't realize that was possible! Something to remember in future). Jason is the most patient, kind, well-informed CM I have ever met. He is a real asset to Disney Company, embodying all the qualities Walt would surely have been delighted to see. We were delighted with his tour and would recommend it to anyone based on how well Jason presented all there is on offer at Magic Kingdom.

Looks like we will be booking a tour soon!

Thanks for the input! :smickey:

me and my gf, did the tour 2 years ago in janurary. when we first booked it we thought it would be a long day since its a few hours. but the time flew by, we had a great time and learned sooo much. it doesnt ruin the magic either, also they leave alot of info open to the imagination, which keeps it special. we also got a special pin for the tour. our guide was named rae. she was really great

We had Jason a few weeks back as well. He is great! I believe he said he's only doing a few more tours, though, as he wants to go back to college....Our tour with him was his 67th :thumbsup2

I took this tour in 2001. This was definitely one of the highlights of my solo trip. Even though I have read many books on WDW and the Magic Kingdom it was thrill to walk the Utilidors and be escorted just like a VIP through some of the rides and hear the special secrets. I loved being able to ask questions and take pictures too!

Go and enjoy on your adults-only trip!

We talked to Jason recently and he did say he's going to be 'part time' while he pursues his other dreams. I guess that makes him even more of a 'rare gem'!
