Disney Fans, if you've taken this tour, did you learn a lot or already know most of the information? Which rides were included in your tour? Would you recommend?

I just booked but want to make sure it's worth our Disney time and money! Thank you so much!

I took the tour a few years ago and I thought it was fantastic! I learned quite a bit that I didn't really know. Our ride that day was the jungle cruise, which was good for me. I don't normally ride it, so it was fun to do something out of my norm. I thought it was worth every penny, and I hope you do too. Enjoy it!

We did this tour in February and loved it. I gave it to my dad and sister for Christmas. They thought it was great and learned a lot. I used to be a CM and although I knew most of it, I still learned a few things! There is no way to know everything about Disney. It's also fun to get to know the guide and other guests as you get a chance to ask a lot of questions. Our guide had some decent information about the new MDE, FP+, and such as well, so it was fun to pick his brain a little. We rode Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion on our tour. Definitely worth it.

We rode Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion. We also were able to watch Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It CMs rehearsing back stage in their off-stage attire. Later in the tour, we were able to watch MiSiCi and then our Guide took us backstage to watch as the MiSiCi cast made their way off-stage. Our Guide knew DD was applying for the College Program with the hopes of being an Entertainment CM so he and other CMs we encountered on the tour discussed what being a CM entailed.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and in retrospect, I'm glad we took the tour as it gave me an idea of what DD's CM life is like now. Interestingly, though she is in both MK parades and the Castle Show, she has yet to be trained as a MiSiCi CM! :)

My DD (24), DH, DS (17) and I went in Feb. We all enjoyed it. My DS's girlfriend and family came the next day and he was impressing them with his knowledge. :)

LOVED IT!!! We did it last July, but have been waiting our past few trips as I wasn't old enough. When we planned this trip after not going for about 5 years it was a priority. We learned a lot and constantly talk about it when people ask about our trip. We were only able to ride Jungle Cruise, but we were scheduled to ride Haunted Mansion also, but it was broken down during our scheduled time. It is a lot of walking and a long morning, we went and took a nap afterwards before returning to MK for the rest of the day, but it is well worth. I know you don't get a choice, but Claire was our tour guide and she was wonderful; as a family of 3 tables for lunch at Columbia Harbor House are set for 4 and seats are assigned as your food is waiting when you get there, we were seated with her and we learned even more than others because we got to talk with her during lunch. I hope you decide to stick with the tour and thoroughly enjoy it!

We did this tour last summer. Even with all of the books I have read, and websites I have followed, I still learned quite a few new things on the tour. Jungle Cruise was closed when we went, so our rides were PotC and Haunted Mansion. RaeAnn was our guide, and she was awesome, the tour was worth every penny and I would do it again.

Took this tour in February. As PP have said, even with all the knowledge you may know already, it is still nice to learn some new things. We were able to ride the haunted mansion, jungle cruise, and we were supposed to ride splash, but it was closed. Instead our CM gave us the option of going backstage behind Splash, or something else that I forget (I think PotC). We decided on back stage. We were able to see the building behind splash where they house all the floats for the parades. We even got to see some of the floats for the Halloween and Christmas floats. In that building we met one of the float operators for the electrical parade. He stayed and talked with us for a while about how Disney will reuse everything, including floats between parades and parks. He even told us that they had the festival of fantasy floats (this was before it began running), but they were housed in another secret building. It was really neat, definitely something to do once!

We took this tour in Feb. We weren't sure that we would like learning some of the secrets, thinking it may ruin the magic some, but it didn't. We learned so much and it was very interesting--nothing spoiled. We have made over 45 visits, and there were still things to learn. We would do it again!

I concur. I'd say over half the info was new to me and I saw a lot I'd never seen before. Lots of great stories from our guide that really amped up our "magic."

We also went on JC and HM and both were fun. Lots and lots of great HM info I'd never heard.

As far as value...it does include lunch and a small souvenir -actually two if you include the name tag, which I thought was pretty cute. AND if you have an early tour you can enter the park before opening! I love doing that and I think it's a nice bonus to taking the tour. In our case, we had an 8:30 tour. We arrived at MK about 8 and we checked in at the tour and gave our lunch order. Then we were told we were welcome to walk around and get a good look at the nearly empty park/ take photos, etc. and to report back at 8:30. And, FYI, photo pass photographers were already on the job that day and we got some great family pics.

Thanks, everyone, for your perspectives. I'm so glad that all of you enjoyed it! I'm definitely keep our tour and cannot wait to have a similarly wonderful time.

Thanks!
