Key West...Kinos Sandals

Has anyone gone here? Were you happy with what you purchased? Is it far from the ship? Thanks!

We were there this past week. We didn't buy any because the shop was so crowded, and we didn't feel like hanging out, but they did have a good selection. DH has bought there in the past and loves them, as well as friends from our meet thread that purchased this week. The shop is easy to get to... get off the ship and turn left. Go down the street that goes past the Maritime Museum, and it is down that street several blocks. It is in a small plaza on the left... just look for the Kino sign painted on the side of a building.

Be aware that they often are closed or close early on Sundays. Head there first thing after you disembark to see if they're open. We saved them for last and they were closed by the time we got there (4pm-ish).

You could probably email them to see what their hours are for the day you are in port.

Love our Kinos. The shop is not far from the ship but I suggest getting there AS SOON as you get off. DH and I made a bee line for the shop and there were only 2 other ladies in there. It made it easier to shop and try on sandals. We bought a few pair and I have to say I'm sad I didn't get more. But I will buy them online since I know the size I need. Just an FYI-they tend to run small.

Also, like another poster stated-they close early! We
went back right at 4 and the shop was already closed for the day.

I say if you definitely want Kinos, go first thing and purchase everything you think you may want or need!!!

I have a pair of Kino Sandals that I bought 25 years ago and still wear them. They won't wear out!
