Key to the world with unexpired days

On our trip last year we stayed at the AKL and as part of our honeymoon received two 7-day MYW tickets. We weren't aware we'd get them so had already bought hopper passes in the UK. We did however go to Epcot guest services on the last day and add the non expiry option to the MYW passes (they were never used to access the parks so all 7 days are intact)

So we're planning to go this year as we already have the disney tix it means we can afford to make the trip.

My question is though... can we still use them? As they are on old keys. Do we need to go to guest services and swap them for normal looking passes or just use them like passes at the gate?

Hope someone can help - I don't want to book the flights until I know for sure we can use these passes.
