Key lime pie....

I know it's a Florida staple, but I have never seen it at Disneyworld or Orlando for that matter! Anyone know where to get a yummy piece of key lime?!

I wasn't specifically looking for it but we did have key lime pie at Crystal Palace (dinner) and 1900 Park Fare (small petit four - but it had a chocolate crust but they called it KL).

It seems like the bakery does make it so you should be able to find it, hopefully!

Flame Tree BBQ in Animal Kingdom had one....it was HORRIBLE. I might try some from another restaurant/bakery this year.

Just come by\my house. Homemade is best. Honestly Key lime pie is really a So Fl dessert. If you can get it at a restaurant ask what color it is. If they say green stay clear. A Key Lime Pie should be yellow.

I believe Narcoossee's has key lime pie. A few on-site restaurants have key lime flavored items like creme brulee and tarts.

olivia's as old key west had a good key lime desert, but it wasn't really florida style, but it was good enough.

Actually my favorite key lime pie is from Publix So if you're in a villa or somewhere that has a fridge, stop by a Publix grocery and get your pie there, it is excellent.

On property Flame Tree BBQ is pretty good.

My fiancee and I took a Tour d'Florida last summer and ended up in Key West. Of course we had to get a slice of all the local key lime pies to see who was the best one. To this day nobodoay beats the Key West Key Lime Pie Company (http://www.keywestkeylimepieco.com/ ). You can order from them online. Sorry it's not a Disney location for Key Lime pie but I do suggest you give them a shot. They are delicious!

I second this. Not that I was expecting it to be great from a CS, but it was pretty bad.

When Key Lime pie is good, it's amazing. Hold out for the good stuff.

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, I order it everywhere it on the menu. Fell in love with it when we first went to the Keys. Every restaurant makes it different, some have meringue, some have whipped cream topping, some have graham cracker crust, some have regular pie crust, some are sweet, some are tart.

I like mine in pie crust, with whipped cream and a little tart.

Just thinking about it, I may have to make one today.

That is so funny you should ask-I printed OKWs/Olivia's key lime pie recipe from the computer 2 days ago!

My mom had it last January and loved it- we are going to make it here.They have it in tart form but we are making a pie.I had a taste and it was awesome.

Have you considered making your own? I've been eating Key Lime Pie since I was a baby and back in Key Largo we used 4 uncooked eggs and limes from our own tree.

Now we're afraid of eating uncooked eggs and have no tree and only eat KLP when we're down in the Keys. Sometimes I'll buy a bottle of Nellie's Key Lime juice and just mix it into some sweetened condensed milk and put it in a crust.

Nellie and Joe's bottles Key Lime juice and also have recipes on their site. You may have a lot of fun with it.

I actually use the recipe from a Disneyfiles magazine from last year. It's a recipe used at one of the restaurants, but I can't remember which. It's very good.

I like mine in pie crust, with whipped cream and a little tart.

Its funny isn't it, I like mine with pie crust with merangue and a little tart.

Pretty much the middle just sweetened condensed milk and eggs and limes.

But I think pretty good key lime pie is still pretty good key lime pie, if you know what I mean.

The other thing I like that needs condensed milk is chocolate gravy, but that is another story altogether.

IMHO not horrible just not real key lime pie.
