Ketchup, Please. DLR condiments and toppings

I have it for dinner sometimes too! :thumbsup2 And using the Mac N Cheese cheese powder on it? Pour genius! Another recipe for our new Mommy's Mac N Cheese Cookbook! :rotfl:

As for breakfast- I'm not too much into breakfast food but like it sometimes. My most favorite of all would be chocolate chip pancakes with chocolate syrup and whip cream on top! :goodvibes Ok, I guess that's not so much breakfast as it is dessert. :rotfl: Same with waffles!

Try it, you'll love it!!! I get credit for that one in our cookbook right? :goodvibes

Kerri--the Tinkerbell Twist is an acquired taste. The first time I had it I was like "People like this?" then I had a second and now I crave them . . . .

I thought that might be the case. lol on another note, we got a package from MMouse the other day for DD9, she opened it and guess what we hear all the time? :rotfl2: OH SNAP! :lmao:

I do like that Kraft cheese powder idea for popcorn! Yup, it is going in the book! "101 things to do with Mac and cheese and/or its components!" LOL!!

My family likes to sprinkle Parmesan cheese on popcorn, OR I started something big when I decided to try the dry ranch dressing mix powder. Now my DS 7 is ADDICTED, he won't eat popcorn any other way......popcorn::

I've done Parmesan but never Ranch....Hmmmmmmmm maybe we should do a 101 Ways To Eat Popcorn cookbook too? LOL

I warned you (I did warn you, didn't I? Oops! :lmao:)

Of course! :thumbsup2 Looking back, I notice I said "Pour genius" I meant "pure" of course, but I guess pour works if you have to pour it on. :rotfl:

We knew what you meant! :goodvibes

The main one I'm really into is ketchup. I usually add some on my food and always have it with fries. If I have pizza then ranch dressing is of the essence. As far as Disneyland goes tho, I have never yet added anything to the food bought and eaten there :)

For me corn on the cob should have salt and butter. I have seen people put mayonnaise and chili powder on corn on the cob. I used to love to make fried corn tortilla then pat them dry and drizzle English brown sugar and cinnamon. I miss tigres with butte,r the burnt flour tortillas with butter, sigh.

What do you put on nachos?

Has anyone tried the black pepper popcorn at the Wharf in DCA?

I was at PCH Grill and they still have the Kitchen Sink for $21.99.

I knew what you meant. LOL And it does work because you do have to pour it on. LOL Actually, I like to sprinkle, pouring you get too much in one place. I can use 1 packet of cheese sauce for at least 2 or 3 bags of popcorn. :)

I warned you (I did warn you, didn't I? Oops! :lmao:)

You did warn me, at least I think you did....:lmao:

I like my corn on the cob with butter and a little bit of garlic salt. If I'm grilling it I wrap it in foil, add butter and garlic cloves, usually 1 clove per cob works perfectly. If I'm boiling my corn I add a tablespoon or so of sugar to the water, makes the corn just that much sweeter. YUM

Nachos, I want cheese, tomato, onion, sour cream, guac and more cheese. No beans or meat needed for me, unless they are lobster or crab nachos. :)

I've never tried that popcorn, I've never seen it, I'll have to look next time. :)

As for the Kitchen Sink, I think we are going to stop at the PPH on our way to DL for DDs 13th bday trip and have one of those to start us off. :) We might have lunch first but I'm thinking not....LOL

Onions! I love onions. If I am eating pizza, burgers or hot dogs, a tuna sandwich (and I eat hot dogs and tuna sandwiches probably only once every several years), they all have to have onions and usually garlic on top/mixed in, in generous quantities. I will also add extra onions AND garlic to any pasta sauce from a jar just to oomph it up a bit.....Now if I am eating, say, a meatball sandwich, of course there have to be onions and garlic somewhere on there, but it has to have lots of melted (not grated) mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce on it.....If I am eating spaghetti, in addition to the onions and garlic, there has to be lots of sauce and lots of grated parmesan cheese.....

Wow, we are two peas in a pod! Lol that's exactly the way I like it! :)

My hot dogs must have ketchup, mustard, and red onions. Ketchup on both sides, mustard on top, and then onions on top of that.

Chicken tenders must have honey mustard. But the honey mustard has to be specific. My perfect honey mustard is that of Outback Steakhouse, for those who have eaten there. If there isn't that particular type of honey mustard available then ketchup will suffice.

Ranch really bothers me for some strange reason and I will not eat ANYTHING ranch-related, UNLESS it is carrots dipped in ranch. That's the only way I go anywhere near it.

Wow, now I realize how picky I am! Haha :)

Today made me remember one other very important condiment rule.

Hamburgers must have ketchup AND mayo. At school today we were given a staff lunch of BBQ hamburgers. They had everything to put on it but mayo. :sad2: I really missed it! :rotfl:

Hamburgers at home, for me, are wonderful with mustard, pickles, tomato, and maybe lettuce and cheese if we are being fancy. Grilled burgers can be naked (gasp!) or with BBQ sauce and I'll love them either way! :lovestruc

Burgers at fast food can have ketchup and mustard, but I am not a big fan of mayo and I can't STAND whatever that is that they put on a Big Mac. Must be why I don't eat them.

Now for super fancy burgers (i.e. Red Robin) I'll have mushrooms, grilled onions, teriaki, chipoltle, guacamole, just about anything they want to throw on there - yes, even Bleu cheese - (not all at once, of course) except I can't eat raw onion. I get hives.

:scared:

Burgers, I like them with basically everything but tomatoes. No maters for me please. LOL

Personally, I don't think you can beat McDonald's Honey Mustard. It's just the best IMO.

LOL--I was just thinking--wasn't it Beth's kids who combine ranch with ketchup and call it "ranchup"? LOL I still havent' tried that yet.

(but has anyone tried the spicy ranch dressing that is out by Hidden Valley Ranch? yummy!)

Yep, it was Beth's kids that called it "ranchup". Still makes me go ewww. I don't like my food mixing. Ack. I think Tina also had something similar to that as well. Her proud chefy moment she called it.

Nope, haven't tried the spicy ranch. Tay only likes the regular kind, and since I do normally use ranch, she picks.

I have sometimes made a taco salad with ranch dressing and salsa on top together.

Red Robin burgers are the best. :thumbsup2 We don't have one here but I went over the holidays with my sister. Some kind of southwestern/mexican burger. Yummy!

I love the Alice Springs chicken at Outback. It is chicken breast with bacon and cheese then topped with honey mustard. I like Emeril's but Annie's has an apple taste and is to tart.

I love burgers topped with grilled onions and mushrooms. I do not put avocado on any food and only eat it in guacamole and some salads.

As for club sandwiches I miss the hamburger club sandwiches. There was a restaurant in the Lakewood area that made club sandwiches with your choice of turkey, hamburger or roast beef.

As for McDonalds, I have read their ingredients, scary what they put in their foods. Even their vegetarian french fries were fried along with the fish and had beef added for flavouring. Chicken sandwich should be chicken breast with spices and herbs, toppings, optional cheese, sauces, and bread. Read the ingredients for a McDonald's chicken sandwich.

What about submarine sandwiches? Does anyone do a dagwood sandwich or do you prefer a simpler sandwich?

I am craving right now a grilled cheese sandwich with a couple of dill pickle chips in it.

My favorite is the Mesquite Chicken at Quiznos. Yum! :)
