Sure! I found the source from PrincessShea so it's only fair to share the info.

I'm in the US and the seller is in Hong Kong. It took about two weeks for me to get it but I am more than pleased (and looking to buy some other pieces).

While they are packaged well for shipping, they aren't exactly shipped "pretty". I bought three of the earring/necklaces sets. The earrings & necklaces came in separate bags so six little bags were shipped into one small box. Due to the fact that it is coming from HK, they probably want to save on shipping. I'm just going to ask my local jewelry stores for a couple of boxes.

Some little updates:

Cake:
Couldn't sleep so at 4am I was looking at cakes. I think we're going to go with the Mickey's Delight and try to add some frosting blue roses on the sides. We were originally going to do the staged cake cutting and take it with us to Ohana's but I realized since we will be going directly to the MK, traveling with the cake might be a problem. So we'll just have to eat it after the ceremony *oh darn!*. We'll probably do a vanilla cake top & bottom and use different fillers (DF is way to excited to try the peanut butter cup, so I'll have to ask to add that on).

I'm really torn on whether to add a character to the ceremony (it's a once in a lifetime thing but it's 800-1200) and using an audio person. Not that I don't want a violin, but there are some songs we really want in our ceremony (like Coldplay's Clocks & Yellow). While I love Disney, I'm not all about the Disney princesses so having a Snow White or Beauty & the Beast song isn't "us."

On a side note, I found out I have more money in my 401k than I thought. While I'm currently in the process of changing companies, Vanguard said that I can either roll over the money or cash it out. Depending on when my next class starts, having this open (or even the ability to take a loan if needed) is a huge weight off my shoulders.

Photography:
After reading a bunch of the PJ, these are the four outside photographers I would like:

http://www.davidandvickiarndtphoto.com/
http://www.thestudioishere.com/
http://www.chapmanphotography.com/
http://www.mistymiotto.com/

I'm going to contact them regarding their packages for Disney Weddings at the SBP for 4-5 hours in December and hopefully narrow it down.

Is it April yet? I just want to make the deposit and really get this ball rolling :rotfl:

Started to get some quotes today from the photographers:

http://www.davidandvickiarndtphoto.com/ - Super packages, hoping we can book them as soon as we get our date.
http://www.thestudioishere.com/ - unfortunately out of our budget ATM
http://www.chapmanphotography.com/ - some amazing packages
http://www.mistymiotto.com/ - a front runner

Some great news as well! The University offered me a permanent position, so it will really help in paying off the wedding. :cool1:

@DisneyParks & @DisneyWeddings on Twitter posted an article on Groom Cakes. I think I'm going to surprise Esty with a cake in the shape of the Xbox 360 (at Ohanas if possible.)

Late last night, we took some pictures of me in the dress. The dress looks good, I look exhausted lol. (Yay I finally figured out Photoshop resizing!) The dress is ivory with Champagne embellishments. Because I'm naturally tan, white is too bright for me. Oh and yeah, I am that tall (5'11 barefoot, DF is 5'8) so I'm still stuck on what to do shoe wise.

Love the dress! It looks gorgeous on you! That cake is awesome. I am thinking of surprising DF with a grooms cake also. I am also looking at photographers right now too, and also have a small budget, keep me updated on who you decide. It's such a tough decision!

We are stuck between the Arndt's and Randy. Both are about the same price wise for the 4 hours we want and both with work with the Escape photographer. The difference is the Arndth's have two photographers while Randy will give us an album. I have all their details in my email and I can forward it to you if you would like. :flower3:

Your dress is so pretty!! The beading is really delicate, I love it. Wow that cake is crazy - it looks freakin real! congrats on your job - that is exciting!

Some mini updates:

The cases for the welcome basket came in and are now in the "wedding" closet. I bought a pair of shoes from Zappos.com, wasn't a big fan so they are being returned. Below is the pair I bought last night and they gave me free overnight shipping! I'm also waiting for different jewelry I purchased (thanks to the various brides that gave me the idea), and samples for some freeze dried roses and some silk roses.

I only read page one, but congrats on your engagement and upcoming wedding! I'm also very glad to hear about your father. Those diabetic wounds are tricky things; they can get really bad really quick (I'm a final year nursing student and took care of a bunch of post-amputations last semester). Sorry to hear he lost his leg, but very happy to hear he's getting his new bionic leg!

I love those shoes!

I am the new zappos.com prophet! 54.95 and so comfy!

Zappos is awesome. Your shoes are so cute!! I need to order some freeze-dried sample petals too, I should get on that. What colors and petals are you looking at? They had some really pretty hydrangea petals

I went with the Something Blue - it was white rose petals with blue hydrangeas.

A heads up on the site, their sample is a cup for $6. The site will charge you for shipping ($12) but it is refunded the same day. Before I placed the order, I called and they said it is some glitch in their system and they just can't get rid of it....it's a good thing because I was not about to pay $18 for a cup of rose petals :scared1:
