Kerry & Esty - 12/7/10- SBP/MVMCP (Rev Issues)

Just got to sleep in my own bed for the first time in three weeks. Screw the DF, I missed my bed. Okay three weeks in WV down, home for two weeks and then back on the road for the first and last week in May....

Received a voice mail and email from Amy; she is now our wedding coordinator. Just sent her an email with our specific questions but she's out of the office until Monday. Definitely feels good to be moving along.

You'll like Amy she's awesome! Very quick to responc even when she says she's out of the office.

Oh congrats - I love working with Amy! Even when she's out of the office she is quite responsive to email, depending on the topic and how critical it is....She's been fantastic to work with so far...

I am sorry your schedule is so crazy lately! but its great things are all falling into place with the wedding!

Spent some time today working on the wedding before packing for MD

After showing the DF the photos of HeatherNJNC, he loves the suit and sneakers. Now we're pricing Adidas Sambas for the guys...and for me.

I already have one credit with Zappos, now I need to send the shoes I previously bought back and order four pair of sneakers.

It also changes the suits from Navy to Black...but eh, that's a simple fix.

The hardest part will be trying to get measurements for guys in PA, FL and WA...but we'll figure that out too.

We are doing sneakers and suits as well! But converse. It usually isn't that big of a deal to get measurements from different states. All my guys are in different states, they just have to go to any place that sells tuxes and get measured and they usually will call it in. I have been told they do it all the time so its not a big deal.

Spoke with Amy and she was able to answer a lot of our questions:

*MK/Epcot photo shoot is booked for Dec 10 @ 5am
*Upgrading to a Guitar for the SBP. Waiting to hear back from Amy for a list of songs. After going back and forth about the iPod, I just said screw it and decided to use the Violinist. Now we'll see if the guitarist can play the same songs.
*Tickets are now available for the MVMCP (the date we want doesn't have a discount but my friend who is a cast member is looking to see if she can get one)
*Deposit made with Rev Kevin Knox
*Waiting to hear back from Ana & Beaute Speciale if they are available
*Working with a good friend in NY who works with a t-shirt printer to have shirts made for everyone.
*Working on STD, Invitation and the Programs now.
*Registry seems to be up and working. Going to put $10 on it as a test. The DF jokes that because his family is so large, he is sending the info to the FMIL and having her send it to everyone...it might be the one time him having a large family comes in handy.

In the next few months, we'll start order the guest "book" and flowers (to save that panic at the end of trying to find ways to pay for everything before the final bill is due to Disney)

I ordered the P90X, which should be delivered today or tomorrow. Everyone I know that has used it, absolutely loves it. We'll see if that helps motivate me to get off my butt and work out.

Just purchased 19 tickets for the Dec 7 MVMCP....$1300 later, my checking account has just stopped weeping.

While Disney has a no-refund policy, I'm hoping that if we have some cancelations they will make an exception (hahaha). My MOH is having visa issues and may be going back to Canada, which leaves the DF without a BM as well. The DF's sister also starts college this fall so she may have finals.

I'm sure we could have waited to find out, but I just wanted to get the tickets and deal with cancellations later.

While traveling I found an Adidas outlet, with a buy one get one half off sale (woohoo). For $170, I just got 3 pairs of black leather sambas with gold trim for the guys and a pair of white ones for me (oh and new socks!). I'll post pictures soon.

Since we bought the shoes for the guys, I'm going to pay for the hair for the girls (and my mom). I'll be making the deposit with Ana when I get back home.

The P90X is waiting for me at home, kinda looking forward to starting that since the DF has lost 30 lbs already (how the heck do guys loose weight so fast?!?)

While I have no travel scheduled for a while, with all the storms going on, I'm not sure if I should unpack my suitcase yet :scared1:

Wow - good luck with the P90X - I have heard it's worth it but BRUTAL!

Love the sounds of the shoes - can't wait to see pics...

I almost got hives when I bought 7 MNSSHP tickets the other day - I can't believe you got 19 tickets to the Christmas party! WHEW! You got the AP discount, right? I wasn't sure if I could use the AP for a discount as it's not activated yet, but they told me as long as I bring it when I pick them up I'm fine....

Hi Kerry, just joining in on your pj. I love all your plans! It was fun to read the story about how you 2 two met since I met my DF playing World of Warcraft. We are really into gaming and date nights normally consist of playing Xbox, mmorgs and whatever new betas we keep being sent... So of course I love how you have incorporated how you met into your vows, the xbox cake, the xbox game case ect.. wonderful ideas to keep in mind :)

Congratulations on getting your date and getting the MVMCP tickets!

There is NO discount for our day. I was pretty disapointed in that - I thought there would be something as it's early in the season, but nope. Even our friend who is a Cast Member tried to see if she could get us something and there was nada.

Welcome to my random ramblings! I understand about the date nights - we've cut going out to save so our nights are spent on the couch with controllers in hand

Congrats on getting your tickets for MVMCP!! It is so beautiful and amazing at Disney during Christmas. I hope you have a great time at the party!

Great deal on the shoes too!! Finding shoes at a discounted price is like heaven haha

Good: I a nice surprise of 19 MVMCP tickets waiting for me when I arrived home yesterday...one thing off the check list.

Bad: We've changed our STD about 10 times now, hopefully something will stick.

Ugly: We're having to change all of the hotel reservations. They didn't have any two-bedroom handicap villas available so there goes the Boardwalk for my parents. My dad doesn't want to spend $$$ for a single room when he can spend $80 for one at Pop century. With the FSIL heading to college this fall, money is tight for them and they will probably stay at the PC as well. I'm wondering if we should just save money and move there as well...

I'm off to call disney for the 3rd time today regarding room availability, I wish we didn't have to go through 23,456 prompts to get a person.

On Friday I filled out our contract with Beauty Speciale, another thing off the check list.

Changed our Boardwalk Villa to the Pop Century to stay with the rest of the guests. While I'm definitely bummed, it is saving us $1300. The DF, bless his heart, is saying that when we take our actual Disneymoon next year, we'll get a suite/villa.

When trying to make the STD, I called about 20 different people in Disney. It seems they are really cracking down on sending the Keys to the World out for security reason. Polynesianbride came to my rescue and sent me her extras, a huge thank you to her

After a trip to Staples, we printed our info, names and addresses on clear labels, a box of cards from Avery, added the picture of our Xbox avatars, and about an hour wording in Word and with our HP....tada

They are signed, sealed and ready to be delivered. About three blocks from our office is the first Post Office built. They have this fancy hand cancel stamp with Ben Franklin's signature. I'll drop them off tomorrow and everyone should have them by the end of the week.

I put down the order for the invitations:

Just caught up. Awesome Save the Dates! p90x is crazy intense! It's awesome. Tony is a little ridiculous, but it's definitely a good workout.

Wow, your save the dates are awesome! I really like the invites as well :goodvibes DH and I are looking at going to WDW in December, so I'll have to see if we will be there to stalk your wedding!

Isn't it great how you can convince boys to plan a whole trip around a small disappointment? I managed to do that with my DF.....I couldn't pick a resort...and was back and forth for months....so DF said whichever I didn't pick we could go back and stay at next year! I think it will be nice staying with your guests and the pop is a bunch of fun.

The save the dates are super cute! I love that your used the avatars! thats a great idea.

I think the invites will look great! can't wait to see how they turn out when you get them.

I am sorry to hear about all of the trouble you are having with getting your rooms booked. It sounds like you may have found a good solution for everyone, so I hope it works out.

I love your save the dates and invites. The save the dates are very unique to you, which makes them so much more special!

I love your save the dates and invites. I wish I was that creative.

I have the P90X but only do a few of them. I love one that sounds something like KenpoX (I am too comfy on the couch to go in the basement and look :) I am able to do the Slim in 6 advanced ones from the same company.

MCMCP is so much fun. How nice of you to treat everyone.

I think saving that much money is worth switching hotels. It will be nice to stay in the same area as your family and now you have more spending money :goodvibes

Love the invites!! I can't wait to see the finished product. That's awesome that you got the Keys to the World cards - such a neat idea. :cutie:
