Saturday December 15, 2001
Its my birthday! Up at about 7:00. Didnt sleep that well but roarin to go. Mom gave me a birthday card saying enjoy your birthday in the jungle! Off to meet up at the Animal Kingdom for Donalds Breakfastaurus. Pretty cute but a little disappointing guess I just expected more.
Food was ok and we saw Goofy, Donald and then Mickey! They had me stand up (along with a 5 year old girl) and they all sang happy birthday! The best part was they gave me a card signed by Pluto, Donald. Goofy and Mickey! It was fun and the kids liked it (I think mom did too!) Got done at around 9:30 and we head off into the park.
We went first to the safari and saw lots of animals. Both lions were walking around for my birthday (everything was for my birthday) Then we went over to the lion king show. Wonderful show as always. Johnna really liked it and Meagan got up and danced at the end. Saw a bunch of characters then off to the bug show. Everyone loved it Meagan screamed and Bryce literally jumped out of his seat when the bugs were leaving! I love seeing newbies in this show. Lots of laughs as usual.
Then we did the tiger walk not as active as last time but still beautiful. Off to Dinosaur Bryce got really scared on this one but Meagan loved it. We all bought the picture because it was so funny. We went back on again (except Bryce!) Keeping your hands up really throws you around. The weather was beautiful again today 80-85* and sunny today was actually a little too hot! Then we did the triceratops spin I went on with Johnna and she loved it Were flying!
Next over to Tarzan Rocks pleasantly surprised by this. Really cool show but a little too loud. Johnna was so cute, clapping and dancing and we had awesome frozen lemonades. Then we got our seats for the parade we actually pulled some seats over for a great view in Asia. Lots of characters and cute cars really cute. Mom and dad went off to the safari again and we all went to the Kali River Rapids to get wet. Well once again we all got soaked! Danny and Meagan go it the first time then Lisa Bryce and I got it the second. They stayed on again but Danny and I got off to change into dry clothes (we learned our lesson and brought a change of clothes this time) We even bought a towel.
Danny bought his dad a safari hat for Xmas. Back to the hotel at 6:00 and everyone out again to Epcot. Met up with the others and went for Chinese food, it was pretty good. Over to Norway for the troll ride, got margaritas and went over to England to see Illuminations again. Great spot right behind the wheelchair area. So we saw my birthday fireworks (remember everything was for my birthday). What a way to end my birthday! Feet are sore, body is achy but we are having a wonderful time. Back to the room for a drink and hot shower and to bed at around midnight. What an awesome birthday. I think well have to do this again!
