Karen's Third Annual December Jellyrolls meet--12/2/05--Photos begin on page 58

First Mickey - Thanks for my spoon!

Hi Karen!

Here's the proofs of the buttons:

Do you guys want just green lettering or green/black?

BTW - They tracked the hits to their site and wrote this to me - LOL!
"I've done several test prints, and I think the turkey is fine. His head is clear, which is important, and the rest of him will remind you all of the glitter on your message board."

LOL! I'm sure they think we're nuts. It works out to about one dollar per pin. If you want to help kick in pm me.

Karen - I've pm'd you!

For some reason I prefer the green writing to the green and black, but either way it's really cute !

I think they look great!!!

Whatever you decide is fine with me.....but I think I prefer the green too! :teeth: Can we give you the dollar when we see you? or do you want us to send it now? :teeth:

So that's 2 for the plain green writing - not the black and green.

Chipping in at JR that night will be fine. I'm waiting for Karen to make the final choice on the pin. Anybody else want to vote. I'll be different because I think the black/green is bolder.

votes: 2 green - 1 black and green

And another vote for the 'all green' lettering. It just seems more distinct and more easily read.......we most certainly want everyone to be able to read our buttons!!!! Your $ will be waiting for you at JR....thanks so much for doing this.

I'll march to the beat of a different carcass - I vote for green/black!!!!

Thanks so much for doing this for us.

BTW - where on the Cape do you live???

Hi Karen, Hope you're having fun......well, DUH, of course you are. Send some of that sunshine our way. I'M MELTING!!!!

twotoohappy, they look great. I'm partial to the just green. I just think they stand out more. Thanks so much for all your hard work.

goofy4tink, I see you're back to 2:15. Too bad :sad1: . Hopefully there are no more surprises. Right now my neighbors are stuck in FL 'cause of the "radar problem" at Logan. Hopefully that's cleared up for you, Karen.

I'm in Yarmouth Port off of 6A. Are you near me?

The vote now is plain green 4 and green/black 3 :cheer2:

(I'll have them add in the  Pete later :rotfl2: )

I like the green/black writing better, but either way will be fine with me.

We're all meeting at 8pm. Info is on page 1. When I was at JR in August the doors opened at 7pm. It's so much fun! We went to have 1 at 9pm and stayed until closing that night and for every night for the rest of our trip. It's a very addictive place!

I celebrated my 40th at Jellyrolls in June & they made me get up on stage & dance :rotfl: :rotfl:

I like the solid green writing a little bit better than the black & green but either one is fine.......your $ will be waiting for you at JR

oh you genius! May I suggest one thing more?
I see balls in shimmering glitter hanging from the carcass by red satin ribbon!
Beautiful, yet oh so utilitarian! such an elegant solution!
Martha will be soooo pleased!

Jean
just back on line after 6 or so days, which left plenty of time for me to ready the spoons & actually attempt to tidy the domicile! ;)

You tidied??? Well, aren't you something. Wondered where the heck you were. Glad to see you will not be 'spoonless'.
And twotoohappy...we're not all that far from you with in-laws in Osterville. And obviously not far from Cotuit!! Small world dept.

Come on now Kathy....you can come up with a very 'beautiful' spoon, I'm sure. Just get a spoon and personalize it...tastefully!!!

what I contribute to the 'tidying' of our domicile could be quite correctly referred to as 'domicide'! :rotfl:

hey, last nite the mothball box image showed up on the quote, now it's disappeared--guess it's the magic! :goodvibes

Yes, the spoons are decorated, the carcass glittering, the aroma of fresh mothballs fills the halls--'tis the season!

Jean

actually, ever since that memorable episode of HBO's Oz, I find spoons just a little...emmm..irritating! :scared1:
