Karaoke Night mini meet?

Waaay back, when Linda posted the itinerary,
one of the mini-meets mentioned was "Karaoke Night".
Is this still being planned ????
It sounds like fun and I'm trying to plan my itinerary,
especially the nights for MVMCP and CP. I want to do Karaoke Night
if it's still a "go"!
Anybody know ??

I'm pretty sure Marsha still wants to do this one. She just mentioned it again in the last DIS-Con chat we had. I don't have any idea which night she's thinking of though. We'll have to keep watching the board for the announcement!

Steve!!!!!! I love that song! That's one of my fav Reba songs! My other Reba top songs are "Till You Love Me", "What if It's You" & "Little Rock". My sons made up a CD with these on it, so I blast them in the van as I sing my little heart out! "No one can hear me sing!"
So, ok, I'll sing as long as someone else can drown me out!!!

I just saw Ms. McEntire last week on her "Girl's Night Out" tour, so I've been on this Reba kick lately. She was only on an hour, but she was fab-u-lous. She sang "And Still" close to the end. All the women were sniffling, and the men were going "Yeah.....and?"

My absolute two favs are "Whoever's In New England" and "She Thinks His Name Was John." I was always a fan, but "She Thinks" earned her my respect big time. I'll have to tell you the story about my close encounter with Reba sometime.....

My cousin that I grew up with and used to sing with eons ago sings at the Oklahoma Opry. She got to sing w/ Reba a few times.

Gerri, that's really cool! Now wait a minute, are you an accomplished musician as well? 'Cause ya know, our very own disneycub IS, so perhaps not only would we have 'singers', but we would also have our very own band.

Oh, I love Reba. But I'll tell you right here and now.....I just like songs...I don't know who sings them or what the title is and sometimes I don't even know the words....I just like what I like! I do, however, LOVE to sing 'Whoever's In New England'.....so maybe we have our song, hunh?

And, so you're not disappointed when you find this out at a later date.....I also LOVE 80's music. I switch radio stations in the car between 80's hits and country.......always looking for something that brings back good memories and/or something I can sing out loud with!

How about "We are Family" by Sister Sledge? I think I can pull that off. And, it seems to be the theme song of the DIS. I think we should sing something fun and upbeat. "Whoever's in New England" is a sad song, about cheating. We need something that we can "goof" on, so if we screw it up (& I will), it will be funny. Also, it should be something that I know most of the words, too! LOL
