Since your feet get wet can you wear pool shoes in place of regular foot attire? Hate to walk around in wet sneakers for the day :D

I wore TEVA's, and my sister wore really thin flip flops that she got at a supermarket, and then we just changed back into our sneakers.

I always keep my feet on the bar and they don't get wet.

You just can't be barefoot.
There is a footrail along the inside of the boat, in front of the seats. If you keep your feet on that, you will be able to keep your feet pretty dry - unless you are in the seat that gets water dumped on you. But, even then, if you keep your feet on the rail they will get a lot less wet.

Looks like Muffy was posting while I was typing. When we rode with our whole family a few years ago, my mom got completely soaked - except her feet, which she kept up on the rail. The only one in our party who got more than splashes on their shoes was my youngest DD, who is disabled and was not able to keep her feet on the rail.

More than your feet get wet. If you are on the "wrong" side of the raft you get drenched --- I mean soaked to the skin. Unless it is HOT and we are going right back to the hotel we won't do this ride.

I stayed dry last week with my rain poncho on and my fee up on the bar. I was in the seat that was dumped on, but was saved by being prepared.
