Kali River FP wait times

Does Kali River usually have long FP wait times? When we were there last April the FP wait line was at least 30 minutes before you even got on the ride. It was the longest we waited for any ride, with or without a FP. My husband was actually concerned, doing rider swap, because it took so long. LOL

I thought I heard this was typical but now I can't recall. I'm not sure if I want to burn that time again.

wow idk how I missed that.. my bad . Yea that's a bit long maybe they had some boarding issues .

I would chalk that up to an uncommon occurrence. It's rare for FP+ wait for any ride to be that long. The FP+ line for Kali in our experience (and we ride it a lot) is never more than 10 minutes. Often we literally walk right on. Even standby for Kali becomes a walk on later in the afternoon.

usually when there's a long FP wait, it's because the ride was shut down at some point, so all the people who missed their earlier fastpass are now riding it in your time slot.

Kali has one of the longer FP+ queues and unless the cast members are checking at the second FP+ checkpoint, many people go under the rope from the standby line into the FP+ line.

This, plus what @Klayfish said. A 30 minute FP wait time isn't unheard of, but it's also not common. I suspect it was down for a period or something was going on that caused the backups. Ordinary operation of Kali shouldn't cause FP wait times to be that long.
