Just Wondering...those with "lower points"...

We originally bought 150 pts at VWL. in 2001, then quickly added on 112 at VWL, then 100 at HH. We ended up selling all of the VWL points for the cash. Now we only have the 100 HH pts. which is not nearly enough for our family of 6 and soon to be 7. This past May, we splurged and stayed at the Polynesian. I know we need more points or else we'll have to go every other year and keep borrowing. I'm working on my husband, but he's not into spending the money right now.

It's all about money for us right now, and 100 points is all we can do! But we're getting 100 banked 2003 points, all 2004 points, and can borrow our 2005 for an outstanding 7 nights this Fall. We didn't want to pay more maintanance fees that the 100 points will bring us to each year - basically so that we can go home to CA each year and see family as well. The current plan is to go with 200 points every other year. Not only is this a great plan for people with limited funds like us - it also works well for people who can't go all the time! We may add on sometime - but probably not until the kids (6 and 7) are out of the house!

We originally bought 150 pts at BWV and are in the process of adding 50 more at OKW. That will be plenty for us.
