great DHS update....we took Megan to F! when she was 2 1/2 and FREAKED out, Jim had to take her out of the area! just saw it again this last trip!

I'm sure Megan didn't freak out this time! LOLOLOL

Walking out was what we were worried about. I think we were scared to bring her to F! after we had to walk out of It's Tough to be a Bug when she was 2.

Just got back from Disney....as you saw an FB.

I was living vicariously through your posts!

My oldest son (22 now) always loved Great Movie Ride. From the time he was little he always said he wanted to work at Disney and be one of the Guides on the Great Movie Ride, then he would go sell toys. When he was in college (which I guess he still is - he is student teaching this semester) we tried to get him to do the college program, but he wouldn't do it.

That is funny.. I guess they don't stay little forever and their dreams and goals change.

Why would Disney want to sell you a birthday card - when they can sell you a giant plush birthday hat.... My youngest has been there for 3 of his birthdays now, and I don't think we have ever remembered to buy him a card. The first time we were there they delivered a baloon and a signed card from Mickey to our room - but the last 2 times he didn't get them. I asked about it this year and the gal I talked to said they don't do that. Of course, if I talked to 3 other people I may have found someone who had a different answer.

Like anyone is going to just buy a card and leave it at that.

We didn't get anything delivered to our room either. Oh well, I don't think Juliana missed the card.

I swear the Hess Station by the Boardwalk has cards!! Were they out of birthday ones, or did you not see them at all??? How strange!!! That would be an easy and obvious thing to carry you'd think-considering all the "celebrating" going on at Disney!

I went in there and I didn't see any cards. I would of paid up to $15 for a card if I found one.

Regardless, sounds like a very nice night! Hopefully you were able to figure out something that resembled a card.

LOL I might of used a scrap piece of paper and lipstick.

Hope you are all doing OK. I know most of CT is without power right now. I have several friends there that are bragging they are the few WITH power. Fortunately up in Boston we didn't get it too bad. Half my town lost power, fortunately not the half I live in. Anyway, hoping you are all well and safe and you didn't get too much storm damage.

We really lucked out we didn't lose power and didn't have any storm damage. I just had a yard full of leaves- it looked like autumn. I'm glad you faired well in Boston. Speaking of Boston, I'm watching the Sox beat up on my team.
