Just when you thought you've seen all the MAGIC! **See Page 95 for PTR!!!!**

how fun! I bet Juliana was beaming about driving the boat. Heck I would've been.

Well, I'm not sure Juliana will be able to get out and Trick or Treat after seeing your pictures of the snow on Facebook. But, in any event, I wanted to wish all of you a Happy Halloween.

Awesome pirates and princesses!
I've never seen anyone drive on the Jungle Cruise either! great job Juliana!

All caught up here! :cool1: Great pictures! Looks like a wonderful park day - good friends, good weather and Dole Whips! :thumbsup2

Christopher is really growing up and showing a lot of personality....what a cutie! - Both of them!

Sorry I've been MIA- It has been a crazy week here. CT was hit very hard by a autumn nor'easter. The wet snow accumulated on trees that hadn't dropped their leaves yet. As you can imagine, the weight, along with winds that were sometimes hitting 50MPH, pulled down numerous trees which in turn, pulled down power lines and poles.

I was working on Saturday afternoon when it started and I had to leave my truck a few streets away and had to walk home under trees that were cracking and falling down all over the place. It was scary. We lost power on Sunday evening and went over a friends house for the night. We were one of the lucky ones and our power was restored on Monday night. Our town, as well as many others canceled Halloween due to the lack of power and the possibility of power lines hidden under the 15-18'' of snow we received. The town did reschedule trick-or-treating for Saturday night.

We had Melody's brother & wife stay over on Monday night, my sister and niece were over most of the day on Tuesday, and my boss, his wife, and daughter were over this evening for dinner. My sister,my brother, my boss, and many others aren't expected to get power back until Sunday. It is a very bad situation... I have a few pictures.....

Our yard Sunday morning 15-18'' of snow-

Juliana hasn't had school since Friday, but she gets to go back tomorrow. She is really excited! She went to the doctor today to get her flu shot and the doctor still sees fluid in her ears so she is on a stronger antibiotic. If this doesn't work then she will have to go to a specialist. After her doctors appointment, Melody brought her to get her ears pierced. Juliana didn't cry getting her shot or her ears done. She is really brave.princess:

I will be back tomorrow to respond to you all... and thank you for the Halloween wishes! :goodvibes

WOW Thats a lot of snow. I am glad you are all safe though. Congrats to Juliana for getting her ears pierced. It's very exciting!

happy to hear you made it through the storm okay!

hope Ana's ears clear up soon! wow congrats on the ear piercing, what a big girl she's become!

/
Tim, I could not believe those pictures when I saw them on FB. :scared1:

I'm sorry Ana still has her ear infection; I hope this new antibiotic works. And way to go Ana on the no crying for the flu shot or ears pierced. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Wow you all got hit pretty bad! My friend is a school teacher in Kensington (Is that a town) CT, and he has been out of school all week! He has new born twins (well they were born in August). I told him if he wanted to make the drive to MA he and the family could come stay with me. So glad you got your power back so fast. We had a dusting here, but lots of tree branches down on my street. One JUST missed a power line! I did get locked out of my house on halloween though. I was handing out candy and when I went to go back in I couldn't get the door opened! I was convinced there was a serial killer in there for a while. I know i have seen that movie before!

What a big girl you guys have! What a great reward for a flu shot too! I hope her ear gets better soon. Ear infections are the worst. I was one week away from ear tubes at 23!

Tim - Your family Halloween photos are wonderful!

Well, I was going to be nice since he's a new dad and all, but since he is torturing us and NOT updating with Ana's photo on the castle, here goes:

tim-1.jpg

but this photo had me cracking up:rotfl2::rotfl2: Was the phrase "Who's your daddy" in there somewhere?:rotfl::rolleyes1

....So we thought BTMRR would be the perfect step up.

Now Melody and her cousin couldn't ride BTMRR because they both were pregnant so I had the honor of bringing the kids on the ride. The wait wasn't too long and the kids were really excited. It was our turn to get on the ride and I sat in between Juliana and her little cousin. The ride started and Ana's cousin started getting nervous... he got very quiet. Once we went down the first drop, that was it. He started crying. I was trying to tell him it was ok but he didn't like it at all. Now Melody and her cousin were standing in an area where they could see us on the ride and they both saw him crying. I felt so bad for him. Before we knew it the ride ended and he ran to his mom. I don't think he will be riding BTMRR any time soon.

.......

It wasn't long until we were on our cruise. We were about to go through the scary tunnel when our skipper needed someone to help him drive. The birthday princess was chosen!

~.....

She even received a Jr. Skipper license! Capt'n Ana did a great job!

We had a great ride though the jungle and got in line to fly on some magic carpets when we spotted two scallywags waiting in line.

Dave & Alex spent some time at the Pirates League while the girls were at the BBB. Dave said it was really fun and Alex had a great time with it. It might just be me but I think Dave had a better time with it. LOL

BOO to scaring the poor boy on BTMRR...but I know how easy it is to mis judge what a kid's reaction will be to a ride. sometimes you just have to deal with the aftermath.

YAY:banana: for Cap'n Anna on the Jungle Cruise
...good think you didn't run into those scary pirates on the ship......she didn't drive you under water falls, did she? (can't watch the video at work. boo)

WOW:scared1: did you get slammed!!! We had trees fall & damage sections of fencing in the back but did not get as much snow as you -- about 9" here in NE PA
Glad your family got power back soon. this storm had some wicked hits -- people in my area are still out of power too. crazy! Hope its not a sign of the winter to come!

Nope...not a fan. I don't like pineapple and give Mark the pineapple slice they put in my Pina Colada every time. But I like Mickey Bars...does that count? :lovestruc
I don't know 1 person who doesn't like Mickey Bars!!! :mickeybar

Great update. Also loved the family pics-so cute!!! Looks like a fun day in the MK. I love me some Dole Whips!
Thanks!!!!!! It really was a great day in MK.... possibly one of the best. :thumbsup2

Luvin the update and video. Yay Juliana getting to drive the boat!

Poor little man getting scared on BTM... I won't go on it though so he got further than me fair play!
Thank goodness Juliana got us through that tunnel!! LOL

yay an update!!

very cute photos of all the kiddos!
too bad about BTMRR....hopefully he will try it again someday!
Megan got scared on Splash mtn in DLR when she was 7, and finally rode it again on our last day in the park last week! and we only got a little wet!!
I'm sure he will try it again... they have APs so they are there often... But I'm sure he won't try it for a while. :rolleyes1

I hope Megan liked SM! We haven't been on that for a while...
Ana did a great job driving the boat!

never had a Dole whip, but love pineapple, maybe next time!
You never had a Dole Whip???? Yes::yes:: you need to go back! :lmao:

Oh how neat that she could drive the boat!
I've never seen anyone drive on the JC before... it was really cool! :3dglasses

Awww that stinks that BTMRR was a bit scary...but those lollipops seemed to do the cheering-up trick!
Yes, note to self, always carry Mickey lollipops! ::yes:: ;)

That's such a cute video from JC! So did Juliana end up driving any of the cars from the parking lot around?
LOL.... She does ask us how many years till she gets her drivers license sometimes.... :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Alright, I SERIOUSLY need to try a Dole Whip one of these days! I always pass the stand when it's too early and closed! :sad2:
Wow. You haven't had one either? Amazing. :sad2:

Ugg...worst feeling in the world. Trying to confort a child on a ride and there's no way to stop it and get off. Poor kid.
I know you won't be reading this since you are in WDW.....

If I remember correctly, I think you know this feeling too.
That one always cheers me up! It must be the quality humor. :thumbsup2
I'm sure you've stole a few PUNnies from here.

How cool is that!?! Looks like she'll be driving daddy's boat next summer!
She drives through the no-wake zones already... I think next year I'll let her open it up a bit. :thumbsup2

BBB, Pirates League, BTMRR, PoTC, and Dole Whips....it looks like it's shaping up to be a really fun day!
Looking back, I don't think there was anything else we could of fit in to this day! :rotfl2:

It really was a great MK day! :thumbsup2

Hey, BTMRR wouldn't be a thrilling enough ride if some percentage of little kids didn't get scared on it. It'd be like....IASW!
Oh no, another IASW hater!:mad:

So cool that Juliana got to drive the Jungle Cruise boat! I think that's almost as good as her picture on the Castle. :goodvibes
Castle picture? Who? Where? When? :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

Oh Tim..As always I am SO far behind, but just LOVE your updates! I have never been on the Jungle Cruise when they let someone captain the boat! Juliana must have truly looked like a Princess who deserved lots of Pixie Dust!
Thank you for the Halloween Wishes!

I hope to catch up on your report tonight. :goodvibes

Happy Halloween!!
Well, I'm not sure Juliana will be able to get out and Trick or Treat after seeing your pictures of the snow on Facebook. But, in any event, I wanted to wish all of you a Happy Halloween.

Thank you for the Halloween pics... I'll have to show them to Juliana!

We get to go trick-or-treating Saturday night... I'm actually off so I'll get to go! :woohoo:

Sorry Juliana's cousin didn't like BTMRR. Had the same experience with my youngest...that's not a good time. But it does make for some good video with which to humiliate him when he gets older! :thumbsup2
I didn't think to take video... since it wasn't my kid, I was just consoling him.

How awesome is it that she got to drive the Jungle Cruise boat! Unforgettable!
Is it wrong to say I was a bit jealous? Would of it been wrong to bumb her out of the way and take over? :upsidedow

And I'm glad to see you got your Dole Whip. Man's gotta have priorities.
::yes::
Now only if it came with a side of bacon... :scratchin

how fun! I bet Juliana was beaming about driving the boat. Heck I would've been.
She was really excited! I love the little things in Disney. pixiedust:pixiedust:

Awesome pirates and princesses!
I've never seen anyone drive on the Jungle Cruise either! great job Juliana!
Thank you!!!!! Hope the little ones have been well! :goodvibes

All caught up here! :cool1: Great pictures! Looks like a wonderful park day - good friends, good weather and Dole Whips! :thumbsup2
It was a great day, with more to come. The ending is really cool! :thumbsup2

Christopher is really growing up and showing a lot of personality....what a cutie! - Both of them!
Thank you! He really is a great baby. He is growing so fast! :cool2:

WOW Thats a lot of snow. I am glad you are all safe though. Congrats to Juliana for getting her ears pierced. It's very exciting!
Even with warm temps(it hit 60 here today) there still is a ton of snow on the ground.

She is so proud of herself getting her ears pierced. She showed them off to all her friends at school. :goodvibes

happy to hear you made it through the storm okay!
Thank you.
hope Ana's ears clear up soon! wow congrats on the ear piercing, what a big girl she's become!
I hope these antibiotics do the trick. I really don't want her to goto another doctor for this.

Wow Tim that's NOT nice !!! All that snow !!! Hope Ana's ears are better soon !!
Did you get any snow from this storm? It is melting, but there is still a lot left.

It was really bad here... still 400,000+ households without power in CT.

She is a BIG girl.. I can't believe she didn't cry either.

Yes, Kensington is a town. LOL...

I'm glad you were able to get back into your house- without a serial killer in there!:eek: How were you able to get back in anyway? popcorn::

What a big girl you guys have! What a great reward for a flu shot too! I hope her ear gets better soon. Ear infections are the worst. I was one week away from ear tubes at 23!
I hope she doesn't need tubes. If this med doesn't clear it up we have to bring her to a specialist. I feel really bad for her. :sad1:

Tim - Your family Halloween photos are wonderful!
Thanks... I will have the 'real' Halloween pics this weekend when they go trick-or-treating.

but this photo had me cracking up:rotfl2::rotfl2: Was the phrase "Who's your daddy" in there somewhere?:rotfl::rolleyes1
This picture turns up at least once on every TR/PTR I do... it's my fault, I'm the one who originally posted it! :rotfl::rotfl:

BOO to scaring the poor boy on BTMRR...but I know how easy it is to mis judge what a kid's reaction will be to a ride. sometimes you just have to deal with the aftermath.
I felt bad for the little guy, he loves trains (hopefully he still does!!!)

YAY:banana: for Cap'n Anna on the Jungle Cruise
...good think you didn't run into those scary pirates on the ship......she didn't drive you under water falls, did she? (can't watch the video at work. boo)
She navigated us through the dark scary tunnel! And did a fine job to boot!! ;)

Glad you didn't lose power. I hope this is just the end of last winter and not a foreshadowing of what is in store for us this season!!!

Glad you guys are OK and have power back.

I could not believe the reports of all that snow and damage.

Way to go for Ana getting her ears pierced and not crying over that or the flu shot. :cool1::cool1:

Yes, Kensington is a town. LOL...

I'm glad you were able to get back into your house- without a serial killer in there!:eek: How were you able to get back in anyway? popcorn::

I hope she doesn't need tubes. If this med doesn't clear it up we have to bring her to a specialist. I feel really bad for her. :sad1:

LOL I wasn't sure I had the town right, was going off m Memory.....which isn't so hot these days lol. I am going to visit him in a couple weeks.

Still no serial killer found in my house yet. I was able to get in through a side door in the garage. But the key was moved, so it was quite an ordeal lol. Still can't get the front door open.

I feel bad for her too. My brother had tubes twice. Just annoying with swimming. Poor thing. I hope it doesn't get to that point for her.

LOL.... She does ask us how many years till she gets her drivers license sometimes.... :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Have you seen the Subaru commercial with the little girl behind the wheel. I always think of you and Juliana when I see it. I think because I have only been reading your reports for about a year, and I went back to read the early ones, so I have watched her go from a little munchkin just getting diagnosed, to the beautiful big girl that she is now, in a very short time.
