Whahoe! I'm doing a mental happy-dance at the moment. :cool1: I've just upgraded my trip from ASMo to CBR. I had the free dining, chaging resorts under that would cost me $455.28.

Changing my reservation all together to the room only special rate and than adding tickets and DDP (not free ;) ), would cost me $398.16 more. So I gave up the free dining and went for this one.

CBR, you'ld better watch out, I'm coming in 52 days! :dance3:

(small question after the happy-trip; when loggin in online -the new details are allready, 2 minutes after hanging up the phone  - it states "9 day magic your way ticket with park hopper and water park fun & more". Is this correct, or should this also state the DDP???)

*is going to drool some more over the CBR-photo's *

Congrats! DH and I are staying there in December and I cannot wait! He thinks we are staying at the POP so the upgrade is a secret that I am keeping, lol.

You are so close so that must be exciting!! I am sorry but I don't know the answer to your tickets/DDP question but I know that someone else will come by and answer that for you!

Congrats again. I hope to hear a review about CBR after your trip!

Congrats!! We stayed at CBR twice last year, and had wonderful stays!!

Thnx, both.

Missie, what a great secret! I haven't got a partner to surprise me, so I just decided to get the upgrade myself. I'll just have to yell "surprise!" to myself. :lmao:

December is a nice month to go! I would love to do a trip around christmas time. Just have to see all the ligths and decorations. And it would be so great to have a breather from out weather. December is nonstop rain (or some snow and temperatures between 20 and 50 degrees fahrenheit. I really hate the cold, so Florida would be grate in december. Oh well, just will have to do a second trip someday. ;)

You can be sure I'll be posting a review! Can hardly wait. Even my father has looked at CBR with a "hmm, that's rather nice actually". And he HATES things like disney, so woulnd't be caught dead there. Can't wait to see what building I'll be in. I'll be laughing my pants of if it turns out to be Aruba. Flying 13,5 hours, going to a different continent, to stay at my own country.

That is too funny! Now I can't wait to see what happens. :rotfl2:

In some way. I'm hoping for Aruba.

I almost can't believe how quick everything got arranged. Withing seconds my vacantion section on the WDW-site was updated, the email confirming everything is allready in my mailbox and now special reservations has allready called back. The CM changing my booking couldn't get a hold of them, too busy, so she mailed them. Turns out I got the last available room with a roll in shower, for the days I'm going. Was happy to hear that. :)

Had a nice laugh about my reservation. The previous CM made a small mistake. Were it should have stated the netherlands at my address, it said Afghanistan. (she probably cliked twice with those drop down window thingies) These things can happen and to my big surprise she had all the other things correct. :thumbsup2 (and believe me, you do not want to try to spell things like my name or city. Even in my place they have trouble with that one)
With CBR with it's villages it was a nice laugh. "Were shall Afghanistan be located? In the lake?"

Pff, I wish it were only 2 more days to go instead of 52. :rolleyes1

For whatever reason, the website never indicates DDP is included when you check your reservation and has caused quite a bit of anxiety for some people.

I think you will really enjoy it--it is my favorite moderate.

thats awesome! we are staying ther over labor day weekend, and are extremly excited! (its our first CBR stay, and first moderate stay since 1997!) i hope you have a great time!

By the way, I've figured out the not mentioning of the DDP. It is mentioned in the mail I got as a confirmation. So that's all arranged. :)

I think you'll love CBR! We stayed there in Aruba last year for our honeymoon, and had an amazing time. It's so beautiful!

You'll have a great time. It is so pretty!

Here's some of my photos of CBR to help you do some more drooling:

The bright colors, tropical music, and those BEACHES and those HAMMOCKSS!!! i loved staying there... i felt so on vacation the moment we arrived. some people complain that its so large and that was something i really loved about it! the walks in the morning were awesome... certainly one of my favorite resorts... however i am not stopping till i have tried them all!!

wow you called today and they had cbr available??? we wanted to go in sept, still dont knowif we could get a room.we got the postcard for 59.00 value. but i have always wanted to stay at cbr , and of course the poly....... , i would love to get the cbr andsurprise dh. we usually stay the music or movies..maybe i will try tmw. they prob. have no rooms left. but i guess i can call and at least try to get even all stars. we were looking for around the middle to end of the month.

Dopey's; yep, they still had availability on the room-only (code BUL or BUK) and room-only and adding tickets and DDP (ZJZ). Actually; I could pick any view! I'm going from 9/4-9/12.

Only thing that was almost out (and is now?), were the handicapped rooms with a roll-in shower. I got the last one! That surprised me, after reading there are supposed to be only 21 handicapped rooms, I was really sure they must have all been taken allready. Could hardly believe the CM telling me it wasn't a problem (I would have never switched if one wasn't available), but she was right on the money.

Thinktinkpixiedust; normally I wouldn't like a large resort, but somehow with CBR I don't mind at all. Sure, all ask to get a room as close to OPR as possible (just that bit easier if the battery runs out to get back from OPR. I'll be taking a new chair, so batteries will still not be preforming optimal and I myself might not be able to judge them optimal yet), but no loss if there aint. Afterall; if I really really though of it as a dealbreaker, I would have paid the extra amount.

I like the way it's set up. Not too high (I'm used to low buildings and love them) and not just building after building, but lovely greens, beaches and village-look. And never mind which building I'll get, I can allways see I've been to thatandthatplace in the carribean. OK, it's at the World, but it IS carribean. :rotfl:

After seeing all of the pics, I'm sure I'll be taking more than enough myself. :lmao: It looks unbelievable and that for a mod!

Just a warning for those going the same days; don't be surprised to much if you see someone getting herself into trouble on a beach a pool or hammock. Might not be the smartest things to do, but with a new chair I'll have to test what it can do anyway. No better place than CBR for that! :rolleyes1

(ps; does anyone know if the beaches are like natural beaches, or is it a layer of concrete and a pile of beachsand on top of it?)
