One month from today, we'll be having a grand 'ol time at my favorite park ever... MAGIC KINGDOM! I just love everything about it. The sounds, the rides, the smells... EVERYTHING! Jake is over 40 inches this year, so we'll be able to give Splash & Big Thunder a try with him! WOO HOO!

We have a lunch ADR at Whispering Canyon and I've been practicing yelling "KETTTCHHHHHUPPPPPP!!! WE NEED KETTTTCCCCHHUPPPP!" with Jake! I want to see if I can get one of those huge mason jars of Diet Coke, too!

And like Kimmy said, there will be a point in the day where we head over to DHS (MGM!) to ride on Tower of Terror!

** Jake and I are making our countdown tonight! I'll post pictures as soon as we're done!

(I never give him any until he calls it what it is, but then the next time he asks, he's back to the wrong name! lol!) Either way, we can practice yelling!!

One month from today I will finally be setting foot in the MK again!! I'm excited to see how Jake reacts to Splash and Big Thunder since he'll be tall enough! I'm going to try not to be sad that Landon's not tall enough. Here's to hoping he grows 3-4 inches in a month!! haha! (He's always been in the 90th percentile for height, and now of course, he's down to 60th!!)

We will be taking a mid-day break for lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe!! I'm excited for the antics!! I can't wait. Oh...and of course, with the park hoppers, we're also going to head to DHS at some point so I can ride ToT every day!!

Oh man, I realized that this day me and Chris are not going to be able to ride ToT. Undercover Tourist for some reason doesn't sell 9 day park hoppers, only 8 and 10 so I just figured this day would be our day to not go to any of the 4 main parks. But every other day, we're in!

I cant wait to hear about you guys' lunch at WCC! Don't forget to drop your fork!

One month from today we are actually very flexible with our plans. There should only be two things that are set in stone. The first, which I haven't booked yet, is a private photosession at the Polynesian for Chris and I! We want to use these pictures for our Save the Date cards for our wedding! I'm really excited to get these done, my only worry is that it's going to be so hot and humid that my hair comes our horribly and I end up hating all the pictures. Anyway, after that we'll head back to OKW to change and go wherever from there! We'll check to see what Kimmy and Lauren and the kids are doing to decide where we want to go. Obviously one of our destinations will be DHS to ride TOT. Then, we all have reservations for dinner at Hoop De Doo Review! We're SOOO excited for this because we even have category one seating, right on the floor! I really can't wait for this because it's going to be more fun than words can describe


In other trip news, I ordered our park tickets Wednesday morning from Undercover Tourist for the biggest discount I could find after scouring different websites. Well they already came today! There's one Mickey and one Goofy. I'm sure we'll just have the tickets added onto our KTTW cards when we get to WDW, otherwise I get scared that we'll lose them. In addition, I received a Photopass card in the mail yesterday! I love getting Mickey Mail!

She and I were emailing today while at work (obviously, we were both working SUPER hard) and got to discussing counter service meals. Chris and I usually don't go super planny planny with CS meals and I don't believe Lauren or Kimmy do either but we do have a few in mind that we'd like to try/eat at again...

Magic Kingdom:
Cosmic Ray's--we all love us some Sonny Eclipse!
Casey's--two words: corndog nuggets
Columbia Harbor House--Chris and I always find ourselves here...usually quiet and deliciousssss food!
Peco's Bills--Chris and I have never eaten here before so I'm thinking we may try and switch it up a little this time.

Epcot:
Sunshine Seasons--gets so busy but even still, it's worth it!
Tangerine Cafe--ok, Chris is definitely never going to eat here and Kimmy said she probably won't either lol but I MAY depending how adventurous I'm feeling that day

Animal Kingdom:
Pizzafari--halfway decent pizza but a delicious chicken caesar salad!
(NO Flame Tree BBQ for me...Kimmy said she loves her some ribs but I'm petrified of birds and I will not eat outside with them. Plus, Kimmy gets protective over Landon and said, and I quote, "I will hit a bird in WDW if need be." )

Hollywood Studios:
Starring Rolls--Kimmy would eat her weight in those cupcakes if she could...due to her rave review, I need to try these puppies out.
Writer's Shop--I really want to check this place out for a snack

Outside of the parks:
Captain Cook's--we plan on going here our last morning for some TONGA TOAST...I think Chris would leave me permanently if we went to Disney World and didn't pencil in Tonga Toast time
Beaches and Cream--I NEED a No Way Jose

I'm sure we'll eat at the OKW quick service location more than once too, considering we're staying there!

So again, please let us know your suggestions/opinions!

I am veryyy excited to hear about your CS meals because most of them I haven't tried and some of them are on my list too. I want to be adventurous and try some of Epcots CS.. but I don't think my DD will have anything to do with that. I will think of you while I'm there.. wondering if you try it or not.

What is Sonny Eclispe? As of right now, I am going there for sure and want to know what this is- so I'm prepared?!! hehe

Starring Rolls is on my list of a SC if this is possible.

Does Captain Cooks have a SC option? I really want to try Tonga Toast but don't have room to fit it in our dining plans.. I might just go there for a breakfast one morning and pay for it- if not.

Depending on how we feel after lunch, we'll eventually head back to OKW for relaxing/pool time. At some point, we'll head over to Epcot again because Chris and I have dinner reservations at Tutto Italia! We're hugeeee Italian food lovers so we're hoping this will live up to our expectations! There are no plans for this evening so we'll do whatever we feel like

Was is much cheaper to build your trip in pieces and use Undercover Tourist ? I am confused about your earlier post about not being able to get park hoppers for a 9 day trip ? cant you add that option when you get to WDW or will it cost a lot more? I think I would be bummed if I couldn't have a park hopper.....I love being able to go from one to the other mid day.

We have never done 50's Prime Time ... we have reservations there for the first day of SWW but I am very doubtful that we will keep them. We are SW fans but not over the top, and our dislike of big crowds will likely win over our curiosity to see all the going on at SWW. So I think we will be going with our alternate ADR at Kouzzina.


BTW to play along, one month from now we will be back at home, probably driving our families absolutely nuts with our post Disney stories. (but one week from now we will be at Epcot & then Magic Kingdom)

Thanks for coming out of lurkdown and welcome!! We're glad to have you here and so excited to get down to WDW. I've never done HDDR so I'm soooo excited to try this, especially with Kimmy, Lauren and the kids!

Was is much cheaper to build your trip in pieces and use Undercover Tourist ? All I did was buy an 8 day park hopper from UT...I think I saved $16 off of gate price per ticket from a link I get in their monthly newsletters. They just don't sell a 9 day hopper on that website for whatever reason, only 8 day hoppers and 10 day hoppers. So, we just went for the 8 day hopper. I could have just gotten them through WDW and then yes, we would have been able to have a 9 day but I chose saving $$ over having the extra day lol I still got the hopper though, just missing one day that we can't go to one of the big parks.
