Just traded into DVC via II, question

Hi - I know most of you are DVC owners but if there is anyone out there who has traded into DVC through II, do you know who I call for Magical Express and how do I add the meal plan? We want to buy into DVC in 2009 so I'm sooooooooo excited we get to try it first. We were able to get a 1 bedroom in OKW 2/22/09 - 3/1/09

Congrats, don't forget about the extra $95 resort services fee (in addition to the exchange fee). If you're going to pay it on arrival, make sure you let them know when you call. It's then paid and charged separately when you check in, not when you check out. Also, if you do the meal plan you'll be required to do it for the entire 7 days for all that stay, you can have 4 people plus an infant under 3 in a 1 BR exchange and DVC is more strict in this area for exchanges.

The number will be on your confirmation as will the other info you'll need. If you haven't gotten it yet, you can ask II to email it to you. The exchange department at Member Services for DVC is the one that will do this.

DVC tends to be fairly slack on occupancy overall but they are somewhat less so for exchangers though they may still have allowed it. Still, as an II member, you need to know that many if not most resorts are VERY strict in this area. Just investigate a given resort before you take a change.
