We arrive from Pa. on Sat. afternoon & leave Thurs. afternoon. 4 full days & 2 half days. Staying offsite, 6 day park hopper. The only place we can use our MM is at DL, correct? Other than that we're at the mercy of the folks already in DCA when we go there. Does this sound about right?

Thanks a bunch. Not going with any real hard and fast strategy, just get up early which is always key I believe. That's easy to do coming from the east coast.

Sorry to hijack thread...but what about if staying on site?

I know about early entry into Disneyland Park certain days.....but I think I read somewhere that there is now early entry to both parks for those staying on site every day?

Is that true?

If it is....What attractions are open early at California Adventure?

I thought I had it all figured out till a few days ago.

We are doing the exact same thing, so I'd be interested to hear how it goes for you. I'm hoping by the time we go in mid-October the hotel guest EMH will be discontinued, but you never know!

Yes it's true. You as a resort hotel guest get entry to Extra Magic Hours. Showing your room key from check in to check out day with park admission you can enter either park one hour before opening. This is planned to take place at least into September.

In DCA all the major attractions have been open during EMH.

Semi on topic....

We are staying at a Good Neighbor. We get one morning of MM and one morning of TTMM, correct? And they can be used on different mornings, yes?

TTMM is only available with certain packages, it does not come "standard" just because you reserve at a particular hotel or anything. If you do have both a MM and a TTMM, you can use them on a different days. The MM will be encoded on your tickets and the TTMM will be on a voucher. HTH! :thumbsup2

Thanks. I think we have bought a package that includes both of these.

Hope you have a great time! Will this be your first visit?

You can get so much done rides/attractions in the mornings at Disneyland. We can ride everything in Fantasyland and then after an hour or so we head towards Pirates and ride that then towards Haunted Mansion/get fast pass for Splash and then ride Winnie the Pooh. Thats over 12+ rides before 10 or 11am. Then you have the rest of the day to do whatever you want.

RE: DCA - Everyone heads to Carsland in the morning. The REST OF THE PARK is wide open.
