Just the two of us- WDW May 09 countdown on! **UPDATE Trying to change plans AGAIN!**

Actually after much research, MCO is not the cheapest place to rent from. Anywhere you go, the airport location will almost always be the most expensive. The airport concession fees are out of this world. If you are renting, you are better off doing it off site if possible.

I am renting through Enterprise and luckily booked a while ago and locked in a rate of $126 and some change for a 7 day rental. They are now over $200 for a week! Enterprise isn't on WDW property at the CCC, but they are on World Center Dr, so not too far away. They also pick up (as do most I believe) and take you to the rental site.

There are two I believe that are on site at the car care center, and then of course at the Swan/Dolphin. I am not sure as to what those are- maybe National and Alamo? Enterprise has always been the cheapest for me (and I have rented through them TONS of times) so I went ahead and went with them.

 That's so weird as I was looking at rental prices the other day and it was $100 cheaper to rent at MCO than from on property or one of the off-sites. :confused3 I guess you just have to shop around and it all depends on when/where and what class of vehicle.

lol weird! I would love to just get the rental at MCO and have it the whole time...would make it SO much easier for me but everytime I check prices its like $300+! What company were you looking at? I am looking at getting a standard or full size. I just can't do compact. I am so used to my big Grand Prix that I don't want to sacrifice the size! :rotfl:

Woohoo! Like I told Brandi, Emily and Tyson's packages have been done but I have been lazy about getting them out LOL

But that's awesome about Handy Manny! Rylan's birthday is in April and he would be so excited to receive a gift from Handy Manny for his birthday!

What day is his b-day? I'll make sure to send it for as a gift from Manny and his tools!!

I'm so bummed, I called one of the local parks here that has pavilion rentals. The pavilions are right between a huge playscape and a spray park. Anyway, I wanted to rent one for Emily's b-day in July and they were already booked up. :headache: They just started booking the second Mon. of Feb. I guess I'll just have to have people here at the house. It's no biggie, there is plenty of room, but it's so much easier to not have to clean up afterwards!

Almost forgot! Bought the stroller today. I went with a Chicco Capri on sale for $59.99!

I usually look at National/Avis/Budget. I'm going with Budget this time around as they have a drop off at the port with a free shuttle to the cruise ship. Usually I rent from National though with my AAA discount combined with a coupon.

Great deal on the stroller! I like how colorful it is. Does it recline? We have a Maclaren Quest. We love it because the handles are high enough for DH and it was the only one where his big feet didn't kick the wheels when he pushed it!

I told DH he might have to watch Rylan too when we're doing the baby swap so you can go on some rides. He said, "that's cool!" :)

Have a good night, I'm gonna hit the hay!!:cloud9:

Yep it reclines! I tried it out in the store, very lightweight and maneuverable :) Now if I could only figure out how the hell to get the shade on there! I wanted a Volo or Triumph but decided it wasn't worth it to spend that much money (esp on a Volo since it doesn't recline).

Woohoo for DH!

Bedtime for me too. I am up WAY too late.

Okay so I am seriously considering returning the stroller and trying to head up a single stroller swap. I REALLY wanted a Maclaren since they seem so much more comfy and if I can get enough people it would cost me WAY less!

If anyone reading this would be interested in a single stroller swap let me know!

We do love our Maclaren. We use it for everything, the mall, park, zoo, Disney! Actually, when I opened it at our baby shower, I yelped, "Yeah, our Disney stroller!" Some of the people who didn't know us very well, were like, "Huh, a Disney stroller?" I have a cheapo umbrella stroller, but I think I've used it once. The handles are too low and I have to bend a little to pust it. Ouchy on the back after a while! We also have the big travel system stroller, but I only used that when Emily was a baby and still in her car seat. I also use that if I am going to the outlet mall in the middle of winter because it seems warmer.

I think the stroller you bought will be great if you can't find enough for the stroller swap, but I'm sure if you post on the budget board, you'll find a few swappers!

Awww! He'll be such a handome little dude!! I love the hat!! They make the cutest boys clothes!!

I here ya! Emily's teachers always laugh and say she wears such big girl clothes, but I hate froo froo little girly clothes. I usually only buy her things I would wear myself!! I'm so bad when it comes to buying her clothes. She has sooo many, she never wears things more that a couple of times.

Oh I am the same way. When Rylan was an infant he was constantly wearing blue everything. I just have never been the kind of mom to let him wear a sweatshirt and sweatpants out of the house. I, too, dress him like I dress myself. I am very much into dressing well and am a pretty trendy person (although I don't follow trends to look cool, I just tend to like a lot of them  ). I am horrible about buying clothes for him because I see something I REALLY like and I buy it...then I forget about it! His clothes are mainly from Children's Place, Old Navy, Carter's, and I get funny tshirts from Walmart. I am actually going to go hit up Janie and Jack at the mall in a bit.

The shirts I get from Walmart are hilarious. I just bought him one that says "That's it...I'm telling Grandpa" because every time he gets in trouble he runs to my dad LOL. Then I got him one that says "I don't have to take this...I'm going to Grandma's". I am sure my mother will love that one :rotfl:

I will have to post a picture of him that I had done on Labor Day. He looks so grown up!

Okay so I just got back from the store...I always feel out of place when I go to that mall. It has a reputation as the "rich" mall, probably because it has Saks 5th Ave, Nordstrom, BeBe, Pottery Barn Kids, Coach, Arden B, etc.

Anyway Gap Kids was having a great deal where you spend $75 and get $20 off! So I pretty much got one item for free. Here is everything I got him! I think we are now set for summer clothes!

And I forgot to tell you guys I got my hair done. In the spring/summer I go lighter and have been doing red and blonde highlights for the past 2 years. Its not where I want it to be yet, but here is the start of it. I go back in 1 week to go over the blond again.

Aw man, I wish I knew Gap was havign a sale, I totally would have been there. Was it today only?

Cute stuff for Rylan. He's so cute! I just showed Emily his picture, and she said, "aww, he a cute baby", I told her he is a big boy, like she's a big girl, to which she replied, "I not a big gool, I a baby too." SHe wants nothing to do with being a big girl lately! I think it's becaus ewe're trying to get her to sleep in her big girl bedroom.

Anyway, LOVE the hair! I've been thinking of getting chunkier highlights, you may have just inspired me to do so!

It was a 3 day only sale, so I bet it ends tomorrow!

Luckily the last 3 nights, including tonight, he has gone to sleep BY HIMSELF in his own bed!!! He is asleep as we speak. It was 1am Thursday, 11pm last night, and 10pm tonight!!!

Thanks for the hair comment :) I love to get my hair done and my stylist loves me because I always do the fun colors in it. Its a pain with the upkeep but I adore it. Let me find an old picture of what it looked like last year :)
