Thanks to reviews here on the board, we chose and had a great stay at Best Western Park Place Inn. Perfect for those wanting to take breaks from the parks during the day. We have a toddler, so this hotel worked out quite well for us.

Front desk held our bags after we arrived from our cruise and before our room was ready. Noisy trash truck outside the last two mornings around 0730, but not a huge deal. Good breakfast upstairs next door, but it gets very busy and you may have to wait for a table to open up. Clean, comfy, roomy and appears well-maintained. Will definitely stay here again.

DLR: too hot and crowded this past Sunday. Will not come on a weekend ever again, even in off-season. Weekdays are much more manageable. Amazed by World of Color! Had yellow zone FPs and a good enough view after getting there about a half hour early. Halloween decor is fun - hadn't even been to Haunted Mansion since before the Nightmare Before Christmas makeover.

Used Rider Swap for Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy and was treated to FP line without a FP. 40-min standby line, but both of us were in and out in maybe 20. I went first and was given a Rider Switch pass and a lanyard with a plastic card. Right before boarding the ride, I handed off the lanyard to the CM, who swapped the Rider Switch pass with a different card. After exiting, I handed the pass to DH, who then went back in through the exit and got right on the ride.

Already looking forward to our next trip, but will probably visit when it's cooler and less crowded.

Thanks for the review of BWPPI. We are booked for February. We will have two weekdays and two weekend days in the parks. Not looking forward to the weekend days but it was that or not go. Our game plan will be to do rides and stuff on the weekdays and do dining and shows/entertainment on the weekend. Hope it works out okay for us.

We also just returned from a 3 night stay at BWPPI! Park Vue Inn is our go to hotel, but we had our niece with us on this trip, and needed the sofa sleeper. We were overall very happy with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower pressure was good, and the water temperature stayed consistent. The location is great.

On the down side, we thought the breakfast was awful! I'm sure it is an upgrade from some of the other continental breakfasts, but we are spoiled by the breakfast at PVI. We just purchased our own breakfast items, and ate in our room the rest of the days. Also the pool is tiny! The one day the kids tried to use the pool it was literally standing room only! They just stood in the water to cool off. It was quite a funny sight. BWPP will defiantly be our new 2nd choice hotel on Harbor.:thumbsup2

Any issues with parking at BWPPI?:confused3

We just returned from a 4 night stay at BWPPI. The location was great. We had a queen mini suite and the size was perfect. Breakfast was OK. Nothing spectacular but nice to have. We will also never go to Disneyland again on the weekend. It's just way too crowded! Weekdays were enjoyable though.

We didn't have a car while there, but the parking lot was full. Hotel parking lot is closed off to the public and for guests/staff only.

We left the property every night for dinner, and never had a problem finding a spot when we returned. My husband drives a Chevy Silverado, and found the spots quite tight to get into (most of them were marked "compact"). Also, if you plan to visit the parks on the day you check out, you will need to vacate the parking lot by 3:00, or you will be charged an additional $75.
