Thanks Alexandra for this wonderful thread! It has really helped me realize that having a great time doesn't have to mean having a "perfect" time.
I've allowed myself to get too stressed with the planning of this trip. The other day I stopped and asked myself "So when is all the excitement going to start? All I feel is overwhelmed".
But, if this makes sense, alot of my stressful planning has been to make sure that the trip isn't stressful. So I made sure of 4 things while I planned: 1) That we were going to stay 10 days this time, so there are 3 days where I have written "open for anything". No PS or anything else planned for those days. 2)To schedule 2 MVMCPS while we are there so we're going to just take our time and enjoy everything there is to experience 3) That (my husband is NOT a morning person) nothing is scheduled before noon (except for Boma breakfast and our day at MK). And 4) To go with the realization that the true magic for me will be being with my husband and daughter no matter what we do.
Ok, now I'm getting excited....
Only 14 more days!!
