Just saw a video on the Weather Channel

about the tornados in Minnesota...anyone here live near there?? Is everything okay, any major damage or serious injuries??

I live in Richfield, MN (South Minneapolis) which got hit horribly by wind, rain, you name it. Our power just came on now, and we are the lucky ones.
Looking around our neighborhood it looks so sad, these huge monsterous trees just toppled over. There are streets that every house lost at least 1 huge one.
THANK GOD noone was seriously hurt or killed.

Buffalo Lake, which is located Southwest of us got hit horribly, tornado was on the ground for 1/2 hour. Most of town is destroyed.

Again, THANK GOD noone was seriously hurt or killed.

KUDOS to our weather stations here that were giving people ALOT of warning of the approaching storms.

KITTY SIDE NOTE: Neither my husband or I slept at all that night, the storm was so loud and scary! Power went out and I was afraid of oversleeping and being late for work. I was up and trying to put some makeup on by flashlight. My husband asks me what that noise is...i never heard anything, he goes and opens our door (we are on the 3rd floor and top floor of a apt. building). and here sits this poor kitten from 2nd floor that somehow got out. He was petrified. We took him in, and at about 6:00 am we went and pounded on the door his owners...waited about 15 minutes...he couldn't believe that he didn't know he was out..
