I saw it too and was wondering the same thing. It would be really great for the DIS - DVC owners and renters to have a central location

It's a totally legitimate operation and good service from what I hear. I have never used it to rent points from since I already have DVC, but I have talked to him about renting points out. The only negative, as opposed to using the DVC boards here, is that you will not have any room for negotiation with him - I believe the standard point fee is $15. per point; maybe higher for holidays. These points are not actually his, but rather DVCers that need to unload or rent out their points for whatever reason. He is basically the middle man who takes care of all the hassle for both sides.

I would have absolutely no concern with using him - he has been around for a long time and appears to have a good reputation. Hope this helps everyone!

so it would seem he makes 3 to 4 dollars a point. thats not chicken scratch. in other words if i deal direct at 11 or 12 i dont pay the commission. not that i have a problem with that. if he has a business he needs to make money. of course it has been a few years maybe points cost more to rent. the most i ever paid was 11 bucks and the other two times it was 10. EDIT....i just looked on the rent trade board you can still get them for 10 a point there....

I have used him before. He does a nice job. Basically he deals with all the hassle in return for a commission. In essence you are paying not to worry about the details.
