Is there something saying you cannot pay cash?
If you want to attempt to stack a 20% coupon with the 5% redcard discount, you would have to use the redcard, not cash.

I'm normally a very optimistic person, but I don't have super high hopes about this coupon. All of the Target coupons have the same language on them, but some of them work on Disney cards and some don't.I'd love to see this work but my recent experience tells me it may not![]()
Couldn't I buy $75 in Disney gift cards online on Bf to earn the 20% coupon?

Perhaps, but you'd have to buy a $100 since they are in $50 denominations.

I know for sure that iTunes and Southwest are included. I believe that any of the restaurant cards are also under the "entertainment" umbrella.Any other cards count as entertainment cards other than Disney?

Oh i could buy southwest cards too!
That would really help with airline costs.
This is true, but if you just purchase $75 worth, be careful about using your Red Card. That would drop your total below $75 and I don't know how strict they are going to be about that $75 threshold. My Target has just put up a "holiday" type display with additional gift cards, and the display had $25 Disney cards, in addition to the $50 ones they always carried at the checkout.
The only cards that ARE NOT entertainment cards are Target cards, and prepaid Visa/American Express cards. All of the other travel, restaurant and retail cards are classified as entertainment cards.Any other cards count as entertainment cards other than Disney?

Yes, correct that your $75 is AFTER discounts, tax, shipping and so forth
So you would have to "over buy" above the $75 amount in order to get the coupon. As your red card will drop your total below $75 and you will NOT,get the coupon
gretchenohar@hotmail said:I just tried a "test run" buying on-line Disney gift cards and the limit was 10 cards. (They were only sold online in $50 denominations - so $500 worth). I'm going to check out my local Target store to see if they have more than that available.
That's still a substantial savings:
$500 X 20% = $100.
So GC's would cost $400 + 5% off for RedCard. So total cost would be $380?
Am I figuring correctly?
Just recieved an email back from Target guest relations in regards to stacking the 20%, here is the response I got.... "If you have a REDcard and a Pharmacy Rewards certificate you will be able to use them with this 20%coupon during one shipping trip between Dec 1- 7. Great products. Good value. And a great shopping experience – every time you visit our stores. That's what Target is all about." Now we just wait and see if the coupon is good on Disney GC's. I knew better than to ask that question directly to TargetSent from my iPhone using DISBoards
Your numbers are correct, however, I wouldn't count on the 20 percent off coupon working online. The 5 percent pharmacy rewards coupon will work in store but not online when it comes to Disney Gift cards. Even if the 20 percent coupon will work for Disney cards in store I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't work online.
