was a really nice relaxing trip! we do have a few little gripes, the room was extremly dusty, looked like they dusted the main area but left the two bedrooms alone. the lamp shades had a ton of dust on them too. no we did not call mousekeeping because once we have our stuff in the room we really do not want anyone other than us in there, just how we are.
we have children, LOTS of them too ;) we were amazed at how out of hand alot of the children at this resort where!! It was like the parents stepped off of the plane or out of the car and gave up any rights to parent their children! just really amazed us as to how LOUDLY they STOMPED all hours of the day and night in the room above ours as well as yelling and screaming and cannoning ball jumping into the pools!!! Speaking of pools, why on earth would anyone take a laptop out to the pool during the peak of play time and sit at tables RIGHT next to the pool and then GLARE at people who are enjoying the pool area? dunno, that just shocked us cause there are a few areas near the pool that would be better suited for laptop use. we used ours in the room or out on the back porch area in our room.

we had a wonderful view! overlooking the marsh and the fishing pier! my gang made use of the pier just about every single morning! after they finished up fishing we would eat lunch and head over to the beach spend the day at the beach then get cleanned up and eat dinner either walk around teh resort or go shopping, they got some really good outlets near by!! and if you go into the COACH one before the 19th and donate a dollar to breast cancer research you get an additional 25% off one item you are able to donate up to 10$ for ten different items! AWESOME deals in there :cloud9: from the resort it is in the 2nd tanger outlet, not much else in that outlet but the deal in COACH is honestly worth going into that one!

i have well over 150 pictures to go through and upload the ones that don't show too much of our faces because we are ones that don't like our family plastered on the net, just kinda weird about that sort of thing

Can't speak about the dust. Never had that problem at HHI. Likely you were staying under a grand villa. Unfortunately, these structures are made of wood and sound travels. As far as screaming and yelling and cannonballing into the pool... I expect that, I love that. It is fun.

I take my laptop to the pool. I don't think any table (and there are only 6) is near enough to the pool to get splashed. So boo-hoo to those glaring people. Pay no attention to them.

Glad you otherwise (and at the outlets) had a good time. We love the whole atmosphere at HHI.

We stayed under a GV once and it was extremely loud. I really don't think the people were unruly or misbehaving - I think the flooring has little sound insulation. We've also stayed in a 2BR that wasn't under a GV and the friends who were with me commented on how loud it was above them. I really didn't notice it that much, but at HH, it might always be worth asking for a top floor room. More steps to climb and carry luggage - but quieter.

we did requested a top floor, but this was the only room that had a view so we opted for the view. we ALWAYS have top floors. i don't think we were under a GV, we where in cabin 24 on the bottom so that would be room 2411. the room had 2 different parties during our stay and both groups where just very heavy footed, the last group was beyond loud tho, it honestly sounded like they made a point of jumping from room to room.

there was one table VERY close to the pool, not sure if someone had moved it before we got there on Sunday or if it was in its normal spot, but it was about 10 steps away from the pool near the side with the slide and we saw two people on laptops at that table 2 different days. once we seen the laptops we told our children to get out of the pool and we headed over to the beachhouse pool just so we would not risk getting the laptops wet. and yes, we could have stayed at that pool and said oh well like everyone else but i am not going to risk one of my children getting someones laptop wet even if that particular person did not seem to care if it got wet, sorry i don't have the desire to argue with said people that it was thier fault for sitting so close to the pool not my childrens fault for playing like they do in pools ;)

we go to this resort every 2 years or so because it is one of those ones that we feel is best enjoyed that way so we are looking forward to going back up in 2 more years!!!
