Thanks for posting; it's so fun to read these "here now" reports. I'm always too beat by the time I get back to the hotel to do it, but I'm so glad some people take the time!

How was the fried chicken at House of Blues? Looks yummy. DD10 is a big fried chicken fan.

Thanks for following..... The Fried Chicken is fabu.... Crispy, Tasty and plenty to take back to the hotel for a late night snack attack.

Seems the crowds are very low to us and navigating through the park is very manageable. We are use to the crowds at WDW, so this is a nice change.

We did all of the rides at DLP by 8:00 PM - Indiana jones was the last ride for the day.

You have to ride Indiana Jones... What a super ride and the effects are great..

That is a ride we are very excited about! After WDW in August too many times hoping for smaller crowds and milder temps.

Hi Bob! Great trip report so far! We're going to DL next July as part of a big California trip, since we've never been there at all. 11 of us altogether will be going! Thinking of staying at the Desert Palms Suites Hotel so we could walk to DL and DCA. Looking forward to a lot less humidity and rain than WDW! We leave Friday for the drive down to WDW and arrive on Sunday. When we get back I will start planning California July 2015!

Wow Bob looks like a great time!!! I didn't realize you were going with Midori's friend and mom again. How fun for her. My DS's friend came with us last year, but couldn't come this year bc his family went to Belize.
I cracked up when I saw your picture with Dee, I have been following her reports/ BC FAQ thread for a couple of years... When I saw it I said OMG I know her LOL
Ya know the FP+ isn't that bad. We're having fun.

I really wanted to go see the walk of fame and those things but I am a little nervous about taking my kiddos there, they are still young and impressionable lol....I think we are going to go to the Griffith Observatory though and I think I am going to add Santa Monica to our list also.
