Hi all,
We just returned last night from a 5 day stay at Disney (stayed at HIFS). On Thursday, we went to MGM (my first time there) and I LOVED it! No crowds, no lines, beautiful! Playhouse Disney was awesome! I think I was just as excited as my 3-yr. old
Little Mermaid show another awesome show. Ate at the 50's Prime Time Cafe and what an adventure! They screamed for us to come eat lunch when it was our time. The lady next to us did not eat her green beans, so the waiter tried shoving them all in her mouth, but she would not open. So he went and got her sundae and put all those green beans on it! haahha ewwww! You have to get the banana split! big enough to feed a family of 4 and real hot fudge, real everything...so so good!
The parade was the best I've ever seen. Make sure you sit up front, because the characters will come and shake hands with the kids, etc.
Great movie ride was great..so life-like. loved the Wizard of Oz.
My husband and friend rode the Tower or Terrror and told me it wasn't that bad, that I could handle it (i don't do rides) Well, I was confused because some folks were holding their tummies after exiting. Well, I believed them and rode it with my husband and omg it was scary!! They take you up, you see ghosts in the hallways, etc, then darkness, then up and downnnnnnnnn over and over. Faster than the speed of gravity and my butt was off the seat!! I did dry-heave when it stopped! never again hahaha
Friday was Magic Kingdom. The monorails were broken, so we had to ride the ferry to the gates. Mickey's Philarmagic is not to be missed! We were in the second row and wish we were further back, but you can smell the pies, feel the water and wind and it was just great! The Haunted Mansion wasn't much of a biggie. Snow White's Scary Adventure was more scary. ha It was crowded to me, but people were saying it was nothing compared to the usual crowd. The longest we had to stand in line was about 15 minutes and only fastpassed one ride, Pooh's house, but by the time we arrived at our time, there was no line!
Ate at the Crystal Palace and that was the highlight. Great food and the characters really pay attention to the kids. The day parade was not worth waiting for in my opinion. Way too short and just not good compared to the parade at MGM. Wishes was fantastic! They turn all the lights off at the park for it. We sat down on the steps by the Plaza Restaurant by the bridge leading to Tomorrowland. No crowd and perfect, esp when viewing Tinkerbell. I think next time we will be closer to the exit, though, because it was horrible leaving with everyone else!
I wish I were back there.....

And, yes, you should have bought that t-shirt! It's a big accomplishment!
