Hockeychic, the braces are off (there's one curly and one straight) use this: [*IMG*]http://sunnyshopper.com/clipart/goofy08.jpg[*/IMG*], but strip out the *'s.
Congrats to everyone who has decided to go Goofy in 2008. I just want to offer a word of caution; please think long and hard before you make the commit to run Goofy. The Goofy Challenge is an endurance event--a half marathon followed by a full marathon 24 hours later--that's a total of 39.3 miles and believe me, that's a LONG way. DH ran Goofy this past weekend, he had a great time and a great experience, but it was difficult and he said he would never do it again. Stephen started training last spring (after running the Disney full and the Flying Pig half) and by the fall and winter, he was up to 50 mile weeks. It takes A LOT of time, commitment, and experience to train for and compete in the Goofy Challenge.
Please don't take this the wrong way and I'm not trying to discourage anyone, but if you have never run any long distance before (half marathon plus), the Goofy Challenge really isn't the place to start.
If you have already signed up for Goofy, good luck!!! And start training now!! Please don't wait until summer to start training, it will be too late. We'll see you guys in January 2008, DH is doing the full and I'm undecided if I'm doing the half or full ( I did the half in 2006 and the full this past weekend). Happy training!!!
