She was worried because her flight was gettint to MCO around 1pm and she was an Emerald/National car renter etc..... I wonder if she took everyone's advice and actually made the ship.

Yes, I think we all tend to forget Hazel and Angelina because Andy is the one on line - those women have to be Saints, ladies, because of his exhuberance - but as Andy has told me, he is quiet in person and Hazel is the cut up. And Angelina just shakes her head and smiles. Gotta love those girls!!!!!

From the time the extent of the blackouts was known my thoughts kept drifting to all my DIS friends that were cruising this week and my hope was that they somehow made it to the port in time to board the ship. That's right I was not concerned about the power being out here as much as I kept thinking that if this was Andy's weekend to cruise he'd be headed for a padded room for sure if he "missed the boat".

Seriously - the blackout was a terrible and unpleasant inconvenience for all involved and I hope everyone escaped with little or no real loss and that their power is restores. We were only down for about 30 hours and we shared a generator with family and could cook on hte grill but I know others were not as fortunate.
