Just put in offer for my first DVC

Just called Rachel at GMAC and put in an offer. The contracts are coming today.

130 points at SSR, all Dec 09 points, $9745, closing costs included.

It seemed like too good of a deal to pass up. The clincher was when I shoed my son the 3d view of the studio from the Disney web sie, and he said he liked it. (I didn't menion the treehouse villas, or he'd wan to stay there.)

Quite an expense before coffee break, but I'm sure the memories will be worth it.

Thanks to everyone for their advice on here. You raised my knowledge base very quickly. DVC really does have its own language.

Looking forward to seeing some of you in May 2010.

SSR is a great resort & THVs look to be very unique & fun accommodations;

perfect for bringing along extended family & of course, when the kids

get older they want to bring friends along as we've recently

come to experience with our 3 - it's all good though & a great

reason to give in to addonitis
