Just ordered the Cricut Expressions bundle from A C Moore...

please tell me I will love it!! Truthfully, I have been wanting one for a while. I have never bought any kind of cutting machine before. Any suggestion for websites to go to for info. I know the Dis will be my number one. I have three grandsons so I'm sure it will be handy for their school projects. Can you tell me anything about the 4 carts that come with it?

cricut.com has a message board area that is a WEALTH of info!!! You'll find most of us peeking in over there too...

I only have the baby bug but the gals here that have the big E LOVE IT!!!!

As for school projects the bug is awesome!! We actually are whipping together a "PI" Day poster tonight due tomorrow (DD is a procrastinator)..but we'll have it done in an hour tops!!!!

Off to see what comes with the bundle and I'll see what I can tell you.. If not, I'm sure someone on here will be able to give you more info on the carts...

The Expression ROCKS!!! I love mine. The starter carts you are getting are really good. You'll be able to do quite a bit with them. Plantin Schoolbook is a good basic font and one of my favorites for titles. Accent Essentials has a lot of great shapes, and if the David Walker cartridge is still Stretch Your Imagination, it's awesome. There's stuff for all 4 seasons, plus some wedding and baby stuff. Paper Pups is OK. I've only used it once, but I've used the other 3 quite a bit since I got them in November.

OMG, you are going to more then LOVE it. I've been playing with mine all AM making Disney things for my retreat in a few weeks. I just used to make invites to my DS birthday party and I poster for him for school. Mine has surely paid for it's self with the use it gets. I have the little bug too but the AC Moore bundle is the best. I hope you love it as much as I do. When I first got it I didn't open it I didn't know if I could spend that type of money on a machine for scrap booking and I'm so glad I kept it. Keep us up dated.

Just got my ACmoore bundle at the store and got these 4 carts.

Plantin School Book , Locker talk , Accent Essentials and Stretch your Imagination .

I have used the School book one and Stretch your imagination already . I have the Bug about a week or so now and LOVE it .
I have tried to use it to make accents for my scrap pages and a baby card for a gift I had . Let us know what carts came with your Big Bug.

I was actually happy to get the Stretch your imagination instead of the paper pups .

the cricut exp is on sale at michaels this week for 349 (not the bundle pack),

WooHoo It made it. Hats off to the UPS driver. We have been going through storms for the past couple of hours. Our tornado sirens have gone off twice. One siren is just down the road and believe me it gets your attention. The initial storm was scary. I'd been watching the radar all day. The rain had been going north of us. I had just told my daughter that we would get something out of this line of storms. About then, it started blowing and raining really hard. At the same time they announced a tornado sighting and our neighbor called and said we could come over there, their house is partially underground. We started to just put the kids in the bath tub but my son in law said no, we going next door. He is usually not scared of storms. This thing just plopped down on top of us. No warning from the weather service beforehand. We've got lines and trees down aruond town. My neighbor on the other side, whose son was with us, was at the school, where one of the big lights on the football field went down. She had some windows blown out in her vehicle. Lots of flooding around also. They are still issuing tornado warnings for counties around us. It is suppose to keep going throughout the night until the cold front comes through. Gonna be a long night.

So, sorry for the weather report. Now back to the reason for this report. I got the following carts: Paper Pups, Plantin SchoolBook, Stretch your Imagination and Accent Essentials. I know I will not do anything with it tonight. Lord willing, I will be having me some fun tomorrow!!

Glad everyone is safe and well give that UPS man a big for his job well done . Ok not a hug but maybe a high 5 .

I got almost the same catrs. but I got locker talk instead of paper pups. Which actually works better for me . My dd is in HS and well locker talk fits right in for her . I don't think we would have used Paper pups we don't have a dog and well we can make cards out of any other designs.

I was in my bedroom when UPS came. I would have given him two high 5's.

I don't think I will use the Pups cart much. We're cat people. I was thinking about getting Locker Talk. The oldest grandson starts junior high next year.

BTW, it is still raining and thundering but the temps are in the 40's so no tornado threat.

So, what is a good starting point for my settings? My first try did not cut all the way through. The second cut my mat. I an just experimenting with a thin cardstock.
