I just returned home from vacation and just wanted to post my thoughts as a first timer!

My BFF and I went on this cruise together and we had an amazing time! We loved the ship, the crew, the food (for the most part), the activities, Palo brunch and our tastings, pretty much everything!

Embarkation was easy and smooth. We took a Lyft from our hotel and arrived right at 11:15. We got through security in like 2 minutes, got checked in and up we went! They were running a little behind but our group was finally called at about 11:50.

Once we got on, we went to Animator's Palate and had a nice lunch. Had a drink at Cove Cafe and then unpacked and checked out our cabin.

We loved all of the classes we took (Mixology, Rum tasting and Martini tasting). The food for the most part was good, but I feel like DCL does not do soup well at all! Cabanas was great both at lunch and breakfast. Our servers were always friendly and helpful and fun!

I personally loved the rotational dining! Thought is was cool moving to different restaurants and having the different menus.

The adult only area was nice. Hard to find a chair, but nice. Lots of kids walking through there though and a lot tried to get into the pool.

We missed Grand Cayman due to something being wrong with the dock and that made a lot of people very mad. We just enjoyed another day at sea and did trivia (we won four trivia's throughout the cruise), played bingo and relaxed and drank a little!

The shows were amazing! Loved all 3!

We almost didn't make it to CC, but thankfully the captain was fiannly able to get us in on the third try. Because we were late they weren't going to serve lunch. But the island is beautiful and we had a great time at Serenity Bay.

The lines for photos with characters and backdrops were always long, but we did a few here and there.

I personally enjoyed the shopping! I think I have a problem!

We bought a placeholder and are looking forward to another trip in the near future.

That's all I can think of right now. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer!

Did you check out Satellite Falls? I don’t bother with Quiet Cove anymore due to the traffic. The door placement is probably one of the design flaws of otherwise what I consider to be one of the best cruise ship designs out there….

Glad you enjoyed your first cruise!

We did. We found loungers but we were disappointed with the servers and the water wasn’t actually running so no falls :(

I'd like to commend you for your positivity! You faced several major glitches (no lunch on CC, no water in satellite falls, missed port) - and some posters may have titled their experience as "worst cruise ever"

When you have smooth cruise you will be adicted forever! Glad you enjoyed yourself!
