Just off Dream Double dip concierge level. Any questions?

What shows did they have at night? I have heard of the shows Golden Mickey, Believe and Villians Tonight. I assume they showed those 3. What about the other two nights? Thanks!

Can I ask if you tipped the concierge hosts?
For me there seems to be a lot of confusion as to whether to or not, so just curious.
Also did you expect the photographers to come around at Castaway Cay? Is that something they normally do or do you have to request it?

Yes those three shows plus a magician the first night and the other night they premiered inside out. Magician was awesome and loved inside out. Villains tonight was eh.. And didn't see the other 2 shows.

I did tip the hosts but didn't tip the photographers. Don't think that's necessary.

Although the food may cater to the adult crowd they have always made children welcome! On one cruise I had just sat down and my 2 year old announced she was hungry, I started to get up to make the fairly short walk to get chicken fingers and the hostess told me to sit down and she went! They made smoothies and hot chocolates with whipped cream and sprinkles for the kids, I never felt uncomfortable taking my kids in there and my older kids (12 and 16) went in for cokes and fresh fruit without us. I enjoy concierge for many of the reasons other people say, service and ease of getting things done. Yes it is a splurge, but for us worth our money and makes sailing with small people somewhat easier!

This just reminded me of something... Not a very important question lol but your mention of coke reminded me! I heard the parks were changing to Pepsi, and I imagine DCL would follow suit. Does anyone know if this has already occurred or will be occurring?

Sorry. I have one more question. What was your dining rotation order. Curious how they split is up with the order on a 5 night. Thanks! I know on a 4 night it is 1223 order. Which two did you repeat?

I will say that the 2nd day in Castaway cay was a lot less crowded than the first. I think a lot more people stayed on the boat even though the weather was great both days. I found that odd, as we were first off the boat and last ones to get back on both days! thats why we picked the double dip!

On our double dip we heard a lot of people complaining that we were only going to Castaway Cay. It's as if they didn't check the itinerary before booking.

That said, I get bored on Castaway Cay. I'd much rather be on the boat. We've had a cabana three times, and while I liked it, by the third time I was done. I tried to find other stuff that interested me on CC, but there wasn't much. Last cruise I was only off of the boat in CC for an hour and a half.

Different strokes. I personally don't care if the boat stops at any ports. A two week cruise to nowhere would be just fine with me.

Yes I didn't even need to ask. When we got to the lounge on the first day they had already scheduled meet and greets for Frozen and the Disney princesses back to back for the following morning. Plus Pirate Goofy met us on the concierge sun deck for a private meet and greet as well on pirate night. Definite perk of concierge!
Did you tell shoreside you were interested in this? We are sailing 10/1 with kids the same ages and they told me to tell them when we boarded.

Nope they just saw I had 4 and 8 year old girls and went ahead and got us the tickets. We never asked for them ahead of time.

Has anyone been able to get Disney Junior tickets? That seems to be the one I've seen in question.
