Just off Dream Double dip concierge level. Any questions?

Tell me about breakfast and lunch in the concierge stateroom. Is it the same food/menu as the rest of the ship?

It's served 7 am to 10 pm and changes to reflect the time of day do breakfast out most of the morning, TO 10.30AM then 11am sandwiches for lunch, then afternoon treats, light snacks at dinner, cheese later evening and desserts.

We have one booked both days and I was wondering if we were the only ones who do that and if it was overkill. Glad to know that others think the same way we do, love the relaxation of the cabanas even though it comes at a price!

No it's lighter fare. Bfast was mixed pastries, meats, cheeses cereals fruit. They didn't have lunch per se just snacks offered all day.
I meant to ask about in-room dining in the concierge level, not in the Lounge. Is the menu different than non concierge or the same? Thanks

Yes a hot breakfast and for dinner you can order from select dinner menus.

Now room service rest of the time is the same bar last morning where non concierge cruisers cant order breakfast, you can order the normal room service breakfast from their cards. Not these ones.

Is this only for Cat T and higher, or can Cat V order this as well?

My husband and I will be in a Cat T with 2 of our grandchildren, and our daughter/son in law will be adjoining in a Cat V with the three other grandchildren. I'd feel bad ordering breakfast for the 2 with us, and the rest of the family not getting to have it!!

Cat T and higher. Order for all to yours, or use concierge lounge.

Trip was awesome! Concierge worth every penny!

I have been reading some recent reports stating that they have had poor service/experiences in the concierge class. This is going to be our third concierge and the previous two have been awesome, did you experience this? I just don't want the the level of service to have changed because we do at a premium...any thoughts on this and if service has declined?

I'm also on the July 24th sailing and we opted for a cabana on both days. I'm only traveling with my mother on this trip (her birthday!), so we chose Serenity Bay.

Its my first experience sailing concierge so I have nothing to compare it to but I thought the service was great. Any issue or request I had they took care of immediately and I only needed to ask once. They were very friendly and open to any requests. A perfect example was on our first castaway day the photographers didn't stop by the cabana area for photos. When we spoke to them about it we had not one but two photographers come by to take photos on the second castaway day and we basically had a private photo shoot of the kids in the water. I obviously can't speak to other peoples experiences, but unless they offer specific examples of how the service declined, I would take it with a grain of salt.

I think most people opted for both days. At least those in the cabanas nearest to ours did. I too thought it could be overkill and figured I could always cancel 2nd day but that thought never even crossed my mind once we were there. I will say that the 2nd day in Castaway cay was a lot less crowded than the first. I think a lot more people stayed on the boat even though the weather was great both days. I found that odd, as we were first off the boat and last ones to get back on both days! thats why we picked the double dip!

How was the heat? We go at the end of July and worried about the heat in general. Was there a breeze or any comfort at Castaway Cay?
Weather was great, it was in the 80s both days and partially sunny. There was a nice breeze by the cabanas. The only time it felt hot was when we went on our bike ride, there's one spot on the bike trail that is full sun no shade. It wasn't horrible, but we definitely worked up a thirst while we were biking.
