JMHO.......I purchased the 20-6x8's the first night of our 11/29/03 sailing. You are allowed to "swap" up to three pics at cruise end. (Nice feature) But, 8x10's aren't included. By night 5 we had no where near 20 pics even taken!!! We had more 8x10's. So I asked, "if regular price on a 6x8 is 9.95 and regular price on an 8x10 is 19.95, can I use two "punches" and get an 8x10". The answer is "no". We ended up "downgrading" to 10-6x8's. Has anyone used the full package???

We also downgraded to the 10 picture package after purchasing the 20 picture package. I, too, wish they would inluded the 8 x 10s (even at 2 punches per picture, which seems fair) but I was glad that they allowed us to downgrade to the smaller package.

On our 10/04 cruise I will buy the 10 picture package and then upgrade if necessary.

I bought the 10 picture package and upgraded to the 15 pictures. That was perfect for us. But, I did buy a couple 8x10s. Actually, I like the 6x8s much better. I wish some of the 8x10s were taken smaller.

We did the opposite on our 3 night cruise. We started out with a 15 picture package, moved up to a 20 picture package, and then I ended up purchasing another 10 pic package. Of course, the main reason for so many pics was the 6 year old who came with us this trip--we had a ton of photos with characters on this trip. I wish they would also do an interchangeable with the 8X10.

Kycruisecrazy............149.95 for the 20, 129.95 for the 15, and 84.95 for the 10. Otherwise, 9.95 a piece.

We bought and used the 20. I thought we were going to have to downgrade but after Castaway we wound up with 21.

I had noticed on the cruise report- a thread there someone mentioning buying a pkg but had a hard time getting enough pictures because the formal pictures/etc were 8X10's and not the smaller size! I, too, wish the character and/or formal photos and such were a smaller size. I rarely buy 8X10's EVER... maybe once a year for family Christmas portraits- the rest I prefer smaller. I only have so much space on the walls and shelves to show those pictures! LOL

So I think now that I know the price and know the "issue" with the larger pictures- that I'll stick with the 10 pkg for 6X8's and hope our formal/etc. pictures come out well on OUR camera. I won't be paying $20 for large portraits- I prefer smaller ones.

get the 8x6 pictures and bring them to walmart to be enlarged. dont cost much to enlarge. we got the 10 picture package on our 3 day cruise and had 5 of the pictures enlarged at walmart for just under $6

walmart didn't question this?? I figured they would be "copyrighted"

THanks

We had to get the release form when we used the cruise picture for our christmas cards the year we cruised but that was no problem to get. Don't know if Wal-mart takes this release or not but they do question the copyright, I know first hand as they took 2 pages the other night where I had copied pictures and didn't think to look for the copyright on the back. They just told me "Sorry, not allowed" and kept the pictures.

Who wanted them enlarged?
I prefer smaller- and wish all pictures were taken with the option of getting them smaller rather than 8X10's.

We just got back and signed up for the 10 pic package. I thought the pictures we took ourselves came out much better. I wasnt too happy with any of pics they took, but got them anyway. I wouldnt get more than 10 unless you have more than 2 children.

The picture maker at Walmart also makes copies that are 4x6. We did this with the package--we shared our pics with the family. Each reprint on the picture maker costs 45 cents. I noticed on some that we did lose a little bit of background, but the pic themeselves turned out great.

I think that there is a release form on Barbs site. www.castawayclub .com that you can take to walmart or walgreens. I copied one last year and had no problems.
